Nice, well-organised store with a wide range of health, beauty, and pharmacy products. The shelves are usually well stocked, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. Staff are generally friendly and approachable, though service at the pharmacy counter can take a little longer during busier times. Prices are fair for the quality, and there are often good deals available. Overall, a reliable spot for essentials and personal care, just a touch of improvement in wait times would make it perfect.
Why is it when you want an over the counter medication you are forced to stand in the prescription queue!!! If you stand at the counter for over counter meds you just get ignored!!! 15 mins at that counter and then thought well I’ll join the pharmacy queue then!! Another 20 mins in that queue I only wanted Sudafed!!! If they had someone on that till consistently then the pharmacy queue wouldn’t be quite so large !!! No apology for wait time and grumpy assistants!!!!! Not a very pleasant experience!!!
Went to get some cream that there saying they have on line, told they did not have it and no idea what the condition was. Second attempt. Showing them the product they have posted and condition it was for. Told they don't do that product and did not know the condiction, told to go to doctor. I went there because unable to get to doctors and the fact they claimed on line they had the product I needed. Felt let down and embarrassed. Not go out my way to go there again.
The pharmacy is the slowest I've ever ever seen in my life. My prescription got sent almost 36 hours ago. I went on the day 5 hours after my prescription was sent to Boots Pharmacy, not ready. Came back 30 hours after being sent, still not ready. Now being told to come back the next day in 24 hours. They told me the prescription hasn't arrived yet, had to remind them it arrived the day before and we were told if we wait for 30mins they will get it ready for us, but we had to leave. And now this. What a joke!
Went in for some advice on number 7 the lady I spoke was fab, really knew her stuff and wrote everything down for me. Really good visit
Pharmacy need to answer the phone. Rang 4 separate times from 12 until 19.45. No answer at all. Wonder if they actually unplug the phone ?
Had a flat tyre on my ARVAL lease car. Got the AA to come over to my house, and they had to put a plug into the tyre due to an object puncturing into the tread. I rang kwik fit who told me that I had to deal with ATS as ARVAL deal with these people? Rang ATS all morning NO ANSWER. Rang head office. They said no receptionist, just keep trying. They emailed the branch to call me. No call. Finally, I got through to the branch after 7 more attempts and booked Friday to have tyre changed. Turned up on the Friday, the technician established what I knew and had asked to be done. The car needed a new tyre. Surprise!!! There is no tyre in stock!! despite me advising the branch to order a tyre. I will have to go again on Tuesday at 8.30 am!! To get a new tyre fitted?? Very odd business model. No reception staff makes it hard to speak with anyone. Zero communication within the business. Diary system for branches not available at head office. Probably would not use this business were it not for the leasing company using them.
The staff are so helpful. Highly recommend the pharmacy. I have to have a certain brand of my medication and they always get it right every time. Brilliant advice and always have the time to help you!!!
I have to go every day because of my certain prescription and they are always so polite to me they have never been prejudiced towards me because of the reason I go in so I couldn't ask for a better store than the one on Northgate. Edit it is also so so convenient because it is open till midnight on Monday to Saturday
