Max is both a wonderful artist and a really nice person too. In my busy life, I don’t often get long periods of time talking to one person, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with max. His work is exemplary. Although with guidelines, he has designed two wonderful masterpieces for me. My time in his studio was enjoyed and the results are amazing. I look forward to the next time.

I'm covered in tattoos all from pretty much the same tattoo artist but fancied something a little different. Found Max through my work and decided to give him a go and was not disappointed. The tattoo itself healed quickly with little scabbing which is a testament to Max's abilities. His technique was a little different to what I'm used to and that plus tattoo guns producing less noise (I think he said they were a new design) and definitely less pain made for a nice change. Chatty guy but also quite happy to put a bit of music on leave you to deal with the pain if needed. Keep it up man, you have some serious talent.

Went to Max with an array of incomprehensible sketches about an idea for a tattoo that I had been exploring for a year. He turned them into some beautiful renditions in his unique watercolour style, and offered a few options for me to explore to get the design exactly how I wanted it.
The tattooing process itself couldn't have been better; his studio is relaxing and he was easy to chat to. He gave good aftercare advice and my tattoo healed like a dream. Couldn't speak higher of Max and would highly recommend him, he's an amazing artist and incredibly competent at his skill. May be back for tattoo no. 2 one of these days...

I had been looking around for an artist that was really different and a little bit more special and I came across Max. He immediately put me at ease and we went through an initial chat about what I wanted and came back to me with several different designs and options with the flexibility to change parts and the overall design and we did this several times which meant I got the design that I loved. Max's studio is light and airy and away from the hustle and bustle and I loved being in this space, he took time and effort to get everything perfect. Dr Viper is an amazing artist, who also happens to be a talented tattooist. I came across his work as part of a solo exhibition in a Sheffield gallery. The collection was mesmerising; beautiful, haunting visions using such a distinctive colour palette. When I found out he was a tattooist I immediately asked him to design and tattoo me. My first tattoo in over 23 years.
Max was such a pleasure to work with. He took a very loose brief and some pretty abstract ideas and through a series of design exchanges, turned them into my wonderful chest & back piece. It felt such a privilege to work together on the early concepts, then hand over to Dr Viper for him to work his magic. Seeing those first stunning concepts was so exciting.
I felt completely cared for throughout the process, his studio is beautiful, the conversation fascinating and the inking was as painless as can be. The whole thing was a fantastic experience, a very moving ritual at times and I'd wholeheartedly recommend Dr Viper to anyone who wants an unusual, unique tattoo, from the mind and gun of a true original.
