   Horrible staff poor attitude no loyalty to customers broke my ps5 by dropping it down the stairs didn’t resolve anything I have the emails from there area manager saying there not resolving the issue so was 500 down. well over priced on the gold and silver but buy it for crumbs avoid at all costs also upon checking the ps5 they took the warranty off the console to void it can no longer be sold due to this issue they take the mic out of there customers on a daily would avoid if you don’t want to be ripped off

   The red hair associate in this store needs to be removed from the buyer desk as he is deliberately lying to customers to lower prices or not buy at all. A brand new item he plugs in without even turning on the appliances and says it has power failure as is not needed to be turned on for him to know that. Seriously this is the experperts at Cash Converters? Do not sell or buy from this location or have major regrets

   They rob you blind and lie to you when buying your items. I've sold many things to this shop. They use eBay to calculate prices. They find the lowest one and tell you that's all it's worth. I sold ddj turntables that I payed 450 for from Argos. Cash converters only gave me 200 and told me they would sell for 350. The next week it was in the window for 450. They where trying to sell it as new. Don't trust the ginger lad.

   I’m genuinely shocked and disappointed by how I was treated by this store. After receiving a guitar, I returned it within the 14 day no quibble return policy — only to be met with an email implying that I might have caused some damage to the guitar myself or made a false claim. Let me be clear: the item was untouched from the moment it arrived and packed just as it came to me to be returned. I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, yet I found myself being forced to defend my honesty and integrity. This response felt like a deliberate attempt to avoid responsibility and shift blame onto me, the customer. I’ve shopped with many Cash Converters stores over the years and always had fair treatment — until now. The way the Birkenhead branch has handled this has been deeply unprofessional and frankly upsetting. After being bullied into not getting the refund, I no longer had any trust in this store to handle this matter properly so had to drive 1:30h to collect the item in person to ensure no further issues. I would strongly caution others to think twice before shopping here — no customer should be made to feel this way when raising a legitimate concern. Very poor indeed.

   Couldn't ask for a better service, the staff are very helpful and take their time to explain what they offer within the store. You can sell items or even put them on a thing called buyback to buy them back within 28 days. I bought a graphics card and was able to put a deposit on it and it was all explained very well by the staff who were very helpful. I will be using this shop for more of my purchases and trade ins.
