    had possibly the worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacist. I went in needing medication, and the pharmacist behind the counter began by asking me how old I was, which, while a bit odd, I could understand. But then, he gave my partner a look and started asking irrelevant questions that felt entirely unnecessary. His demeanour was judgmental, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being scrutinised rather than helped. It left me feeling anxious, uncomfortable, and very disrespected.

    I went in and asked for some night nurse which my husband had asked for as his nose was running constantly. I felt like I was being quizzed by the pharmacy police. I was told it was for coughs not runny noses and was made to feel like a sleep junky. The pharmasist was called over who also said its not for runny noses. PROMETHAZINE HYDOCHORIDE in night nurse is an antihistamine which drys up nasal secretions and aids sleep. If you want power over the general public be a policeman . Thankfully I stood my ground and my husband had a peaceful night sleep

    Booked in for a yellow fever vaccine 4 weeks ago which was due to be on Monday (2 days from now) I’ve just had a phone call now to say she can’t do it as her license has expired, surely she knew it was about to expire but has only bothered to inform me 2 days before when I’ve already booked the time of work to have it. Waste of a days holiday and she cleary just couldn’t be bothered to ring up any sooner to give me proper notice!

    This store has helpful staff and a well-stocked pharmacy. However, the beauty product section is awful. Whenever there is a beauty offer e.g. 3 for 2 or free gift, the products are never available. Often, the products are opened, damaged etc so I’m reluctant to buy them. The staff response is just that things are stolen and used frequently. There is a Superdrug opposite which doesn’t have the same issues - stock is always topped up, tidy and sealed.

    I visited Boots pharmacy and the gentleman in the pharmacy effectively gave me my prescription. While I waited, Leanne helped me with my shopping. I always have a great experience here and that is because of the wonderful staff. Thank you to the lovely staff who helped me this day

    Unfortunately their pharmacy service is not always staffed. 5 people queuing up. And no one there they are all just chatting at the back. Terrible service.
