Fitted us in at the last minute when our dog Millie fell into a very muddy brook and just couldn’t get her clean at home. Millie doesn’t love being bathed/groomed (in fact she hates water of any kind) but came out of the groom room super clean, smelling delightful and with her nails trimmed perfectly too! Thank you so much. You may have gained a repeat customer (minus the brook incident again I hope!)

I've taken my dog to see John for hydrotherapy for the last 9 months. After he broke his leg. John took his time to understand his requirements, build a plan and discuss what would work best for him. We have watched over time Albie go from seriously lame to more than we ever expected to reach in a level of movement and strength. As albie is also growing up from being a pup his (teenager attitude) is also being taken into account and worked around. John's calm attitude works wonders and sophies caring nature fit perfectly together. For a small family business they show the true meaning of a caring industry. Very highly recommended.

We started taking our pug cross here in late 2022. She’d been run over by a car aged 3 and then aged 7 we noticed she was starting to have difficulty with weakness in her back legs, not enjoying walks anymore, and being grumpy with her sister After around 6 swimming sessions we started noticing a difference and now 6 months on we can honestly say it’s been life changing for Stitch! Her mobility is improved, she’s running rings around her 3 year old sister! She seems to be a much happier dog which is so lovely to see. We’ve kept up with the swimming, she goes once a week, and we don’t think we’ll be stopping! She’s gained so much muscle in her back that she’s not had since before the accident. I didn’t realise she could look so fit and our vets are so happy with her fitness and weight, especially for her breed type Pictured before (on a walk, lack of muscle in her hind, 5 mins in and already stopping) After (on the beach, nice muscle back legs, after 30 mins of exploring and ready for more)

First time taking my Springer to hydrotherapy after his TPLO surgery. Great care taken, very professional and great fun all round. Booked in for 10 sessions for his recovery but will definitely continue after this, can't wait to see how he progresses.

I have been taking my dogs to Sophie and John for many years, their professionalism, knowledge, customer service and helpfulness are second to none. One of my dogs is expertly groomed by Sophie and also has regular hydrotherapy sessions with John which have made such a difference to her wellbeing. I can highly recommend Sophie and John and they are lovely people to know and deal with, nothing is ever too much trouble to do for you.

Sophie is just amazing! We don't live local, we travel an hour to get there, but the journey is definitely worth it!!! Had a couple of other dog groomers but non of them compare to Sophie's Groom room - so a massive thank you from tom and dani
