Started taking my shihtzu chihuahua mix coco not long after they opened. Coco is 11 and a bit of nervous Nelly but she is always really good (so they say!) and seems very at ease here and they always do a great job, she comes out like a new dog! She has 2 different fur types so previous groomers have left her looking choppy, but pooch lounge never do!
The pooch lounge is fabulous looking after my nervous Pom. They never rush him and he always comes home happy.
We have been bringing our 2 red fox labs Molly and Maggie to the Pouch lounge for many years. Molly has longer thicker fur and she always comes out looking noticeable groomed. The staff are professional and accommodating. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
I have used these groomers in the past for my friends XL bully, they are very experienced and he loved being there, when we picked him up, he was fresh and pretty. I walk past the shop atleast once a week to show my son the dogs hoping I’ll catch one that has just been groomed and ready to be picked up, from what I’ve observed every dog is treated like royalty.
So grateful these guys fitted us in so last minute, and very helpful on the phone :) thank you for treating Z with love and care and making him look so lovely (and smelling amazing!) ❤️ 10/10
Do not recommend. Only one way how they cut is to take off fully all the fur. They even cut my dog whiskers. Normally my dog spend 1.5h at groomer. It took them 50 min to completely shave my dog. All what they will tell u that dog is matted. Really book some private groomer wait even few weeks more. A lot of people at Ormskirk had bad experience with this parlour.
Been taking my dog for the last year since being pup and always received efficient and professional service. This week my dog had the best cut she’s had so far and looks beautiful! Not too short as requested but short enough for a good tidy up and beautifully detailed- her little feet look so pretty!
Took my Shollie for her first full groom to remove winter coat and clean up. Excellent service throughout from initial booking, when I turned up on the day and collection. Was 1st time puppy had been to dog groomers and she came out looking lovely and was under no stress at all. Will definitely go back again
First and last time using the Pooch Lounge, spoke to Adrien on the phone and he sounded really upbeat and genuine however the girls I left the dog with this morning were cold, blunt and rude. On top of that they have cut the dog's ear and she has come back a nervous wreck hiding under the table, they have took far too much fur off her when I only asked for a bit off and the way they have cut the fur on her face makes her look so old. On top of that on the way out they had the dog off the lead running around the shop she could have very easily escaped as I was picking her up and somehow I got the rope lead back knotted (?) Sorry, definitely won't be back. Giving a one star purely for Adriens politeness on the phone and fitting me in for a cancellation, judging by the reviews I imagine it would have been a different experience if he was in today.
