Avoid at all costs! Waited months and a chain of 21 emails for a tool tax rebate to be sorted, to find out its a different process and have to start all over again. Absolute joke of a business. If I could rate lower than 1 star I would.
Been with these guys 10 years but this will be my last time. Having a trainee do my return was a terrible experience. She sent me a rebate sum of 700 to confirm. Then the next day she gets in touch and tells me she had made a mistake and the actual rebate was 18 pounds. obviously I'd signed to them so I couldn't go elsewhere. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. Avoid at all costs
STAY CLEAR/DO NOT USE!!!! Not good. The first phone call seemed promising, .polite and confident. Good sales team. The process was fast. BUT. I wanted a call back to discuss the self assessement. Which i never ever got. I asked the secretary a number of times, also emailed for a call back. I got emails basically pressurising me to say submit. I couldnt discuss anything. I never got any confirmation or paper work from the self assesement which i paid for!!!. My friend who refered me never got his £50 off. Not happy with these guys. They just seem to want to rush your self assement to get there money. Im just hopefull that its done right. Who knows with these lot. People trust me, STAY CLEAR! Then the year after bombard you with text messages with 20% off. No thank you.
Do not use brian alfred they are incompetent iam still trying to sort out my 20/21 tax return, avoid them at all costs
I used Brian Alfred Associates for years always found them fast helpfull and efficient.. this company now has gone down the pan! Lost my pack twice! Last year waited 6 weeks for a 24hr refund!! Very poor organisation.. extremely unhelpful on the phone.. do yourself a favour and use an accountant that knows what their doing..
Couldn't of been any more helpful. Really efficient and would recommend to anyone. Got my rebate sorted quickly
The worst accountancy I've ever used took £400 off me only got back £1600.... took far too long took nearly 4 weeks... will not be using ever again... lesson learnt and as for the 24 hour payment.... false advertising!... took them 2 days to make payment after charging me 400 pound for the 24 hour payment.... I would strongly advise not to use... absolute waste of time
