Took my Peugeot 207cc to TDV to have a fuel injector replaced. The work was done and then 4 days later the car was booked back into the garage as the engine was running fast, the next day another injector needed replacing. On collection the second time, I started the engine up outside the garage and it was still running fast. When I questioned it, the response was just give it a run and I was totally dismissed. Drove the car from Runcorn to Crewe and I could smell diesal. The next day I drove the car there were fumes coming from under the bonnet and diesal all over the back of my car. The car stopped and engine failure light came on. AA was called to find the pipe on my injector hadn't been clipped back on and my car engine and all underneath of the car was covered in diesal. Please read attached report. Took it back to TDV who have replaced the clip bit said it was nothing to do with the work he'd done. But has told me that I need to go wash the car, he's left the engine and parts covered with diesal so I need to pay for cleaning. Doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for any mistakes whilst working on my car. I'm now trying to find somewhere to have the underneath of my car cleaned. Oh and the AA man managed to fix the timing on the engine.
