He completely rehauled my Hitachi cassette player and despite its many faults and its age made it run like its right out of the factory! Tested over a few months and works like clockwork! Very friendly guy had a lovely chat about boomboxes really feel like Tom is honest guy and has a passion what he does feel awful I didn't realize he does it all in his house x remember to call in by phone next time for appointment :) turns out my sharp boombox had a switch problem he even cleaned it reasonable price has it back in two or three days perfect I always fought the cartridge was black turns out it was more of a grey color not cleaning it properly in 11 years really professional printed invoice list taped in explained what was wrong I've taken it to other shops I always felt like it was kind was abandoned dumped on a shelf had to keep begging reminding to look at it never seen happy to see me maybe it's just me always felt welcomed with Tom so glad I got it service after it wasn't playing properly just sad to industries gonna be gone soon I'm in my late 20s obsessed with 90s grunge metal don't know what I'm gonna do x sorry for the late review I'm very ditsy take care
I called Tom about my turntable playing slowly and he told me to drop it off that morning. Within a few hours he's not only fixed it but also given the motor bearings a clean and lubrication. Really friendly, professional service and at an excellent price. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely use again if I have any further issues

I have a HMV StereoMaster 2411 that was not yet ready for that last great gig in the sky. I knew a bit of expertise and TLC would bring it back to life again. After 2 years of trying no one returned my calls. However a chance remark to the Record shop in West Kirby, also good btw, led me to Tom. What a find! Not only did he fix it but he explained it and gave me options to update it with blue tooth. I now feel like a 21st century boy with my mid century toy! All thanks to Tom and his knowledge. Smashing fella to boot as well!
Tom is an top quality experienced hi-fi engineer. He sorted out the problems I had with my turn table and amplifier quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. Highly to be recommended.
