So glad I asked John to help me get my PC upgraded. It couldn't be saved so he sourced a reconditioned PC at a very reasonable price, which is so much faster. Will definitely use him again in future and wholeheartedly recommend.
Fantastic result after I thought I'd lost everything on my dead laptop. He worked miracles by saving photos, files, data etc and transferring it to a different laptop . If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!
I needed advice on replacing my ancient PC, as the current one couldn't upgrade to Windows 11. I've used Rom and Ram before (following a recommendation) a few years ago and I was very pleased with the help and service I received. So, I contacted them again and, after talking through the issues, the upshot was that John, the owner, built a Windows 11 Pro PC to fit my exact requirements then transferred over all the data, settings etc from my old machine. The new PC works perfectly and is far faster than the old one. The whole experience was hassle free and I was very pleased with the price and the high level of service. I'd thoroughly recommend this business if you have any IT issues.
Excellent first experience using Rom & Ram,Greasby, outstanding communication, very good price and excellent service. John did an outstanding job replacing the screen on my 13” MacBook pro. repair was completed quickly, I will definitely be using Rom & Ram again should the need arise.
Can’t recommend John highly enough … we were in need of a quick fix on a very slow laptop, response time was excellent and from first contact , communications with John regarding diagnosis and then fixing were first class. His after service was just as efficient as had a couple of queries on the setup of certain programs. Will definitely be using again.
I’m not often impressed by tech companies but the service I got from Rom n Ram was absolutely incredible. Perfect repair after my own stupidity in trying to upgrade my iMac. I got great advice, superb service and a great price. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Excellent from start to finish, with a full, prompt and efficient service. I really appreciated how R and R listened to the problem to reach a (correct) diagnosis rather than just making assumptions. My elderly MacBook has been restored to full working order, and is running better than it ever did. Would thoroughly recommend Rom and Ram to everyone and will continue use them myself
Laptop was dead. John gave me a quote but advised against repair as Motherboard was shot, and more cost effective to buy new. He did manage to retrieve some data from drive onto USB. Would use this service again.
Bought a 5 year old MacBook from a friend and wanted it checking out. Googled who was close to me and found Rom and Ram had very good reviews so decided to give them a try. Booked a slot to take the MacBook in, handed it over and within a few hours John had messaged me to give me the diagnosis and price. The MacBook was returned within 24hrs and is running like a dream. Excellent service, excellent communication and very reasonable price. It's very rare these days to find someone prepared to provide a great service and not try to rip you off. Highly recommended!
Excellent service, I thought my Mac was beyond repair, had been going 'funny' for a while and then I spilt a drink on it, thankfully John fixed it and made it like new again. Very reasonable price and considerably less than the price of a new Mac. John has been flexible and his communication throughout is excellent. The diagnostic fee alone is very low considering the work he must do to diagnose the problem. Happy to have found a reliable 'go to' person for my computer needs, highly recommend. Thanks!
