   As I walked in on a rainy weekend with my soaked pooch, was greeted as if I was one of the long lost friends. "Progress & technology" are good but being greeted with a warm smile and a goodbye handshake are the secrets to success. I had the off chance of popping into a family firm which has span for 3 centuries! Martin assisted me with the damaged earrings I had brought in and gave me constructive non biased advice. I know where to come to treat my loved ones for that special occasion. Wheelchair accessible. Would highly recommend.

   Exceptional service from start to finish. Gill took the time to help me find the perfect wedding ring and explained every step of the process to me. She is a credit to the business! The contrast to chain high street jewellers could not have been starker - I was made to feel valued and respected throughout, never rushed. To top it off, their prices were very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the service and product I received!

   After speaking with Andrew on the phone re a possible purchase of a diamond ring for the wife and the possible sale of a watch we no longer used, it instilled confidence in us to visit the lovely old shop. Andrew and his father went the extra mile to make our 2.5 hour stay a memorable one. Dealing with them was a pleasure and a far cry from the usual "gold buyers" on the high street and on line. The whole process of both buying and selling was very laid back and the outcome was a success. Very happy with the deals we did and the way business was conducted, we hope you are too. Andrew Connard was an pleasure to deal with, incredibly professional and prompt in his communications and my watch was packaged beautifully. So nice to deal with a family run real business.
