   Lisa saved us this week! Our flights were cancelled and the airline was rebooking us for the next day. We needed to get home the same day. She got us flights, and booked them while we sorted out credit card issues. She spent so much time with us and so diligent to make sure it all worked out. I wanted to give her a hug to thank her for her dedication, calmness, and making it happen.

   In July 2025, I booked a cruise with Cunard. When I did not receive an email confirmation, I attempted to call Cunard Customer Service. I unfortunately called the first number in my Google search and was connected to Travel Unravel. I will admit that I had some degree of difficulty understanding the representative who spoke very heavily accented English. I explained I had already made a reservation with Cunard and just needed confirmation and provided all pertinent. I was told that the charge was $1897 due to fees not previously included. I am now responsible for that payment. Apparently, I am not alone in being charged extravagant fees for none existent service. The fees were for Travel Unravel sending a receipt for a reservation I had already made on line. Buyer beware!

   Review for Travel Unravel / Brightsun I had a very concerning experience with this company on 30th August 2025. I mistakenly believed I was calling Virgin Atlantic after their website crashed, but was actually connected to Travel Unravel. The agent (Gavin) strongly implied he was linked to Virgin Atlantic and offered me the same seat I had just tried to book online — at a price £350 higher. Without my proper consent, he placed a booking hold in my name. I later discovered that the same seat was also being held in my name by another agency, Brightsun, even though I had never contacted them. This effectively blocked me from booking directly with Virgin. When I refused to proceed with the inflated booking, the agent became aggressive. Later, when I phoned back to ask for the holds to be released, he shouted at me. Thankfully, Virgin Atlantic eventually helped me secure an alternative booking (with a better return seat), but the stress, dishonesty, and intimidation I experienced here were completely unacceptable. Checking reviews afterwards, I realised I am far from the only customer who has experienced misrepresentation, inflated pricing, and aggressive behaviour from this company. My advice: book directly with the airline and avoid this company.

   This is a dishonest company who preys on the elderly and disadvantaged. My mom needed a simple flight changed through allegiant airlines and somehow This shady company got involved and she paid full price for a new ticket plus an additional $177.

   Absolutely brilliant company!! Totally recommend. I called virgin directly however was answered by travel unravel not even realizing they were an agent till after I bought ticket and saw on my e ticket it was an agent I thought I’d been scammed but all was perfectly fine, the agents were extremely helpful with all my questions as a new traveler, the price was good and the service very friendly efficient and reliable. The flight was excellent and very organized. I will certainly be using them in the future. Very happy x

   DO NOT BE CAUGHT OUT THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY BASED IN INDIA WITH A UK PO. They took 2.8k for flights from my elderly gran. These got cancelled during covid and they refused to refund or rebook. I found alternate flights for 1.6k but they wanted another 1.8k to rebook these. Which would be a total of 4.4K. To date no refund or rebooking have been made. They will reply to this saying to respond to make it seem like they have a customer service - they don’t. Do not be caught out by the reviews they post about themselves

   Very unreliable and dishonest (dodgy people) I purchased a ticket for my mum during the COVID RESTRICTIONS and they never advised that at the time only US citizens and US residents were allowed to travel therefore when my mum went to the airport she was denied flight and sent back home. Although I contacted them straightaway, they kept saying that they will try to sort it out and it took forever. It has been two years and throughout this time, I have contacted them more than 100 times and spent several hours on the phone trying to get either a refund or get another ticket but the tickets they offer are way more expensive than what I can find myself on the websites. I am taking a legal action against them and will update my feedback after the court hearing.

   I would like to complement Albert for his professionalism and incredible patience in helping me rebook my flight from the UK back to Kenya on the 15th February 2023. He reconnected with me on two occasions after the initial flight had been booked: the first time to give me a quicker and more direct flight to Mombasa and the second time to give me the option to reschedule, free of charge because of my uncertain medical appointments. I am most grateful to him for his care and understanding. Thank you again Albert.

   I have booked my flight with this company but had to cancelled the flight due to the quarantine rules in Malaysia and advised the agent well in advance. I was told that I can only receive future credit note and not cash refund ! (This is not true according the the Covid rule and the legal advise I have received). I called few months later to extend the credit note they have offered and only upon my call they advise I can get cash refund but only partial cash refund (I assume they have collected the full fund from the airline long time ago as BA was penalised for not providing cash refund to customers due to Covid). Following my call they also sent an email to me regarding the partial refund. I have called to ask for refund but not partial refund. At no point contact was made with me earlier to advise that I am entitle to any cash refund (they just want me to book another flight with them with the future credit note). Today I was told I will receive only £126 cash refund and I have paid £560 towards my ticket - not partial after all. So I am going to make a complaint to the manager tomorrow and would like to see how this will be resolved as I want my full refund which is permitted under Covid rules but never received the correct advice on this matter from this company and i will update this review upon my discussion. I will take this to Atol if I am not satisfied with the outcome and also will make claim for all the stress they have put me in the last 2 years!!! Please keep away from them best to book your flight directly with airline. The company is also so unprofessional and would not assist their customer to make a complaint even though this process can provide improvements to their service delivery, this is base from my interaction with the staff member when I requested for complaints details from staff member, the staff member advise don’t bother with requesting refund just go and make complaint to Atol! If only I can give no star that will be a true reflection of the company.

   Do not use this company!! They are a nightmare to deal with, they are absolute crooks. Grace is the rudest person ever she should not be in a customer service role. We have never received such poor service and been told so many lies, due to government guidelines banning travel our flights had to be cancelled, the airline promptly refunded them in full which we found out on our own at first they denied and then after several calls and threats to contact Visa they agreed but still they kept our money for 2 months and still had the audacity to take a fee off our refund. We will never use these ever again!! Do yourself a favour and dont use these people you will regret.
