   Wow what can I say. This has to be the best pizza express I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The staff were more than attentive helpful and pleasant. Especially our host Tim, he was amazingly helpful

   Me and my friends dined in at restaurant for dinner yesterday evening around 7:30, and the experience started off wonderfully the food was outstanding, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff put in exceptional effort to ensure everything felt comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, a large, unruly group made the atmosphere less pleasant. They were extremely loud, impatient, and acted in a blatantly disrespectful and at times even racist manner toward the employees. They shouted at the staff, demanded to be served immediately despite the wait times, and even followed them around the dining area, creating an uncomfortable and tense environment. Even with all that going on, the staff remained calm, professional, and remarkably composed. Their dedication truly stood out, and I applaud them for handling such a difficult situation so gracefully. Despite the behavior of that group, I still highly recommend the restaurant for its excellent food and hardworking team.

   I recently dined in yesterday around 7:30pm , and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional food and the lovely atmosphere. The staff truly went above and beyond to make the evening enjoyable. However, a large and disruptive group unfortunately overshadowed the experience. They were not only loud and impatient, but also behaved in a very disrespectful and even racist manner towards the staff, shouting at them and demanding immediate service regardless of the wait. It was disheartening to see them follow the staff around and create such a negative atmosphere. Despite these challenges, the restaurant staff handled everything with professionalism and grace, and I commend them for their dedication. I still recommend the restaurant for its fantastic cuisine and the hardworking team.

   I visited ecently and wanted to share my experience. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and clearly worked hard to take care of everyone. Unfortunately, there was a large group dining at the same time who made things very difficult. They were extremely disruptive—raising their voices, making rude and even racist remarks toward the staff, and demanding service in a way that was completely unfair. They were walking around the restaurant, approaching staff who weren’t even serving their table, and insisting on immediate attention. Even with all that going on, the staff handled the situation with remarkable patience and professionalism. I truly felt for them, and I appreciated how they kept the rest of the dining experience enjoyable. Despite the behavior of that group, I still had a great meal, and I would definitely come back for the wonderful food and the hardworking team.

   Food was superb and so was the service, we went in on a busy Friday evening with a few very large tables. But our server Emily was impeccable even whilst handling a lot of tables. Everything arrived very promptly and was fresh and delicious. We had been really looking forward to this meal and it did not disappoint.

   Felt really disappointed by this Pizza Express and I've never had any issues at other Pizza Expresses before. Especially upsetting as it was our first date out for food in many months and it was my partners birthday. The food was really disappointing. Couldn't taste the garlic on the garlic bread. We had waited quite a while for our pizza, and were noticing other tables had received theirs already so we checked and it turned out they had lost our order. They quickly made our order but rushed it so it was only lukewarm, it was undercooked and it tasted absolutely awful. The atmosphere wasn't great. There was a member of staff complaining and kept saying that they 'can't do this anymore' and storming off. The only reason I give this 2 stars not 1 is cause the manager was nice and took our pizzas off the bill to apologise.

   Normally, I love pizza express, classy and not overly expensive. An enjoyable experience. However today? I wish I just walked out. My pizza was cold, and tasted uncooked, the floor was dirty, and the atmosphere was horrible. Loud noises as well as clattering and banging of staff dropping things. Unskilled to say the least. Without mentioning that it was packed to the max. Our waitress took out plates and drinks, then waiting close to 20 minutes before we got the bill. Don’t think I’ll be returning again after being made so uncomfortable after what should’ve been a nice date night out.

   Ours was a 10th birthday celebration at the restaurant made up of 13 excited girls. It was a wonderful experience of great food, drinks and atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful in making the night a success. Good job all!

   We came tonight for a family meal for my birthday. The service was soooo slow considering it wasn’t busy. Starters were fine. Most the mains arrived and our starters hadn’t even been taken away. My youngest sons pasta took ages to arrive which wasn’t fun when his brothers were eating but when it did arrive most of the pasta was black and burnt. My carbonara arrived and was awful,dry,l and hard. Sent it back and got another once everyone else had eaten and was inedible by then I couldn’t be bothered to say anything as everyone else had finished. I did say I wasn’t happy when someone eventually came back to the table to clear the table. We did have my pasta taken off the bill but I would have much rather a dinner I could eat. We were sat for 2 hours which is painful with small children and seeinf Other tables of a similar size had come in, eaten and left.

   Decided to get the bbq burnt ends and absolutely loved it! Great service from Sophie, plus she was was very attentive and a lovely host making our experience a pleasure. Will definitely be coming again!
