   We had an absolutely incredible experience at The Oven in Bath! The pizza was nothing short of amazing — we shared the burrata and mortadella pizza, and it was bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. Honestly, we wish we lived locally because we’d be eating here all the time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food exceeded all expectations. We totally recommend a visit if you’re in Bath — this is a must-try spot for pizza lovers

   We visited as a family of four with two small children and were immediately made to feel unwelcome. The staff refused to seat us inside, claiming our stroller would be “in the way” — despite offering to fold it. Instead, they directed us to sit outside in 5°C weather with young children. We ordered four pizzas, including one advertised with truffle and mushrooms. The truffle was completely absent — no aroma, no flavor whatsoever. The mushrooms were hacked into large, uneven chunks that remained undercooked and released excessive water, turning the entire pizza into an inedible, soggy disaster. The taste was reminiscent of improperly defrosted frozen mushrooms — genuinely unpleasant. When we complained, rather than acknowledging the obvious quality issues, the staff had the audacity to tell us we “don’t understand the taste of mushrooms.” They eventually removed the pizza from the table but still charged us for it on the final bill. The service was appalling from start to finish. Instead of basic courtesy or an apology for serving substandard food, the staff were defensive and dismissive, essentially blaming us for their failures. With young children in cold weather and such disrespectful treatment, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. Absolutely cannot recommend.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

   The most delectable pizza I have ever eaten - our entire table demolished them! You will not find a better pizza place in Bath - nay, England! Incredibly impressed by the high quality ingredients and options available. Very attentive and lovely waitstaff. Great indoor and outdoor seating available. Good value for money.

   Very lovely restaurant with friendly staff, wooden oven and plenty of space outside. Me and my partner had 2 signature pizzas and were absolutely delicious! Fresh and tasty ingredients, dough well worked and cooked! The bruschetta were a let down, small and not great for the price!!! Overall a fantastic pizza place! Well done guys.

   We walked past the crowded pizzeria and saw that the pizzas looked great. A look at the menu we spotted something that’s not quite typical of Italian pizza and hesitated going in and that was pineapple on pizza. Nevertheless we gave it a try. The pizzas we ordered as you can see from the pictures are really good! We had beer and finished both pizzas. Service was also quick and fantastic. We later learnt that the pineapple addition was to cater to tourists, requested by the Spanish owner.

   A place worth visiting! Very genuine flavours and a great bunch who gave a very warm welcome. Italian plazza kind of a vibe too! Wood oven pizzas were a delight and my favourite was the white based one with black truffle ( check the picture). I would definitely come back for some more as we loved the flavours and the range they offered!

   We were visiting Bath for the day and we choose to have Lunch at The Oven. Staff were extremely kind, and they were definitely working their as* off. They were serving all tables constantly without any break between them, big thank you to the hard working staff. Food was extremely tasty, full of flavours and definitely as fresh as possible since they come out the oven seconds before they reach your table. Portions and Price were definitely reasonable too, you want leave hungry. Great service, Amazing Food.
