   Gone Downhill Stayed at Peveril in October; one friend had a dirty room and had to transfer, my window broke, bathroom bin was broken. Meals were mediocre, 3 of us sent eggs back one morning as they were raw! Customer Service patchy, most Staff fine but some were below standard with one refusing to get me a pot of tea as there were self services available. Might give them one more chance but they need to improve their building maintenance, catering and customer service

   What a shower. Had booked a family week with the grandchildren in Austria for the end of July 2022. My wife rang to check a detail in April only to be told that the week had been cancelled and they hadn't got round to telling us. Fortunately we hadn't booked flights (pure chance). A couple of weeks later we contacted them again to chase our deposit only to be told that the first call was a mistake and the holiday hadn't been cancelled and that they would need to check the tape of the call before we got our money back. A week later we contacted them again to see what had happened only to be told that actually the first call was right after all but that we wouldn't be getting our deposit back for at least a fortnight. You couldn't make it up!

   We had a walking holiday booked for May 2020 costing 1300.00. They are telling us that we cant have our money back until March 2021, at the earliest. We can't get hold of anyone by phone. Total bunch of thieves

   We arranged to take the whole of Nyftha House at Brecon. It is difficult to express quite how excellent the staff, accommodation, food and of course the guides were. Being an HF novice, what staggered me was the food. From breakfast through to the huge take-away buffet for lunch to a really great evening meal. The manager,Tiffany and her staff were excellent. In fact everything was. There were 34 of us and everyone was impressed. On behalf of all of us, thank you for going that extra mile to make this such a memorable holiday.
