   I was quite unsure of booking a holiday with them as they weren't known much, I can't tell how wrong I was! I talked to Hanif on the phone, he was very knowledgeable and gave us a total price cheaper than other major travel companies. We booked a holiday between 9th and 20th March for Mauritius with a private transfers including child care seat and everything was great. We went to the private car company when we arrived and the tour agents greeted us at the departure terminal, took our luggage all the way to the check-in. Which was great as we were with a child. We chose the hotel and everything went smoothly. We would definitely book with them in the future.

   Overall, I had a good experience with Mauritius Holidays Direct (MHD). Manny, who I dealt with on the phone was polite and knowledgeable. You might be thinking, why I gave them a four star review; when booking the choice was between Le Meridien Ile Maurice and The Westin Turtle Bay. the price was the same for both, and Manny, who had stayed at both, suggested we try Le Meridien as it was a newer hotel. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with Le Meridien. Luckily the rep from MHD came to visit us on the second day and I spoke to her about this. The rep herself lives in Mauritius and said that The Westin is a far superior hotel. She then spoke with the MD of MHD who authorised a transfer to Westin, which was a much better hotel (in service and quality of food). As MHD redeemed themselves, they deserved 4 stars. I would use them again.

   Mauritius holidays direct have been amazing from start to finish. The whole booking process was easy, Manny was amazing, and offered flexible payment options. We were sent all the travel documents ahead of time. The entire process was seamless, the reps and transfers were waiting for us. Overall I 100% will be recommending Mauritius holidays direct and will be using you again in the future!! Thank you!!

His advice & knowledge of the hotels in Maldives has been invaluable. He has been patient, professional & gone above & beyond in terms of finding information for us.

   We had booked a holiday with Mauritius Holidays direct but had to cancel, the holiday was not due until Feb 2023 we cancelled in Sept 2022 some 5 months before departure. They refused to refund any of our deposit (£460) fobbing us off saying it was industry standard. If it was a month before I would understand or they kept £100 for admin, so beware when booking. Even if we decide to go another time we will not be booking with Mauritius Holidays Direct very unfair refund policy when they will easily have time to fill the slot shame on you.

   Booked holiday with Mauritius Direct Holidays but mine and my husband's luggage never arrived in Mauritius. Spent a week without any clothes etc etc. Contacted Mauritius Holiday Direct to ask for help and support but not interested in helping at all! Sadly feeling extremely let down by them.

   Took £5K from my account without authorization for now reason as all. Now they won't answer the phone when trying to get to the bottom of this. They are scammers!

   We have been to the Caribbean a few times and this was our first visit to Mauritius. We were not disappointed but overwhelmed by the beauty of its coastline and scenery and by the hospitality and friendliness of its citizens. The Hotel was amazing, the best I have ever stayed in and far superior in every way to those in the Caribbean. "The Residence ‘met all our needs in luxury, attention to detail, and the hospitality shown towards us by the staff. We were given a ‘Butler’ who was always on call if needed and our room was well serviced by our very friendly chambermaid who changed our sheets after so many days without our prompting. The food choice was overwhelming and of a high quality, as was the service provided by those waiting on the tables. A big thank you to all the staff who made our visit so memorable and especially to the Manager who made our last day relaxing by extending our room stay because of our late flight. I must also mention that the local agents Coquille Bonheur were excellent, as was the service provided by Enchanting Holidays .
