We dined here the Saturday after our wedding anniversary, as we have never had anything other than excellent when we have visited before. I had the special risotto to start with followed by the most exquisite chicken dish I have ever eaten, with a side of perfectly cooked vegetables. Pudding for me was Amarena cherry cheesecake. We shared a lovely bottle of wine (not driving) with our food and a carafe of water too. Staff were attentive, and positively asked for feedback on our meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday and at dessert the whole restaurant sang and we were greeted with a small dessert and candles. Fantastic team, maximum expertise, first class restaurant with all the employees, the food was phenomenally delicious, huge portions, we had to take the leftovers home because everything was so delicious. Thank you everyone for the nice surprise, you made my daughter happy. ❤️

Visited during a family trip to Edinburgh on our last day after a long outing, and we wanted a nice, hearty meal. Found this place on Google Maps — it came up among the top Italian spots. My son wanted Italian, so we tried the carbonara in two versions: the Roman style (less creamy) and the regular style, both with pancetta. Both were tasty, though I personally preferred the Roman version a little more. We also ordered mussels — I enjoyed them, but the rest of the family thought they were just okay. The Quattro pizza came loaded with cheese, which I loved, though my wife found the blue cheese a bit overpowering. We also tried another soup and the risotto (special of the day) — the risotto was a bit underwhelming compared to the rest. We skipped wine and alcohol since it was late, but the restaurant had plenty of parking and was very quiet that evening (likely busier during the day). Overall, a good Italian spot with some standout dishes, especially the carbonara.

Came here with friends for dinner on Saturday and really enjoyed it. The staff were well really friendly, efficient and professional. But most important was the food which was excellent! I had the Arancini to start. Four small perfectly formed balls with perfectly cooked rice, cheese and peas, and served with a really nice tomato sauce. My main was the 'Tre Stagioni' pizza which was very big, and made up of toppings from three different pizzas. I'm used to eating sourdough pizzas with thick puffy soft crusts so I was initially a bit disappointed when the pizza arrived as the crust looked small and crunchy. However, as soon as I tasted it I realised I shouldn't have judged it by looks alone as it was a really really good crust. Crunchy on the outside but really soft and doughy inside. It also had a very large amount of toppings on which were all really lovely as well. The pizza was a pleasure to eat and I was very full by the time I finished it! Everyone else has desserts but I was too full so just had a latte. I drink a lot of lattes and would say this was one of the best I've ever had. Guessing it was really good quality coffee beans but it had a really lovely taste. (The strawberry cheesecake my friends had looked amazing and they said it tasted as good as it looked) Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Dined here last night with the family for my birthday, absolutely superb! Service impeccable and the food was delicious. Great selection of gins and spirits too. Had the Mussels to start with - huge portion followed by seafood pasta both beautifully cooked. All our party had a blast ,staff couldn't be more accommodating, would strongly recommend.

Nestled near to the banks of the River Esk in the fishing town of Musselburgh, East Lothian, Corolla's Kitchen serves some of the best Italian food on the East Coast. Superb service from friendly staff and competitive prices for great food. Fantastic atmosphere in the beautiful historic building. Excellent coffee of course.

The Crolla family are a significant force in Edinburgh’s Italian restaurant scene so the know what they are doing. Crolla’s Italian Kitchen is set in the revitalised Eskmills complex in Musselburgh. The old Eskmills site has adapted surprisingly well as an entertainment venue with the traditional buildings converted to new uses. We had pizzas and ice cream for our granddaughter’s birthday treat, naturally! The food was great and the ambiance just right, happy and friendly. The menu is extensive so we will go back soon, just the two of us.
