Great live bands. Really interesting diverse types of people that drink here. Toilets a bit smelly and unclean at times. I have always felt welcome and had a good time. Keep up the hard rock and edgy crowd.

I don’t normally leave reviews, especially negative ones, but the attitude of a certain woman behind the bar was absolutely shocking. My band has been coming to The Keg for the open mic nights for a few weeks now, and up until this week, we’ve really enjoyed it. The nights are great, and most of the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. However, after we finished our set, one of my mates was kicked out for no clear reason. I assumed maybe he’d had too much to drink, but he was completely fine. When I asked the woman behind the bar what had happened, she flat-out refused to explain. She then claimed that you have to buy a drink to be in the pub—which would be fair enough if we hadn’t been buying rounds all night. My mate had bought several drinks, and I’d bought one myself, so her reasoning made absolutely no sense. What really bothered us wasn’t just the decision, but the attitude behind it—completely dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. It’s a real shame because we’ve really enjoyed the open mic nights and the people there, but after that experience, we won’t be coming back which is shame because it’s a good wee pub.

Absolutely shocking experience, me and my boyfriend and his cousin and his friends all went there in a band for open mic night and the manager not working and drunk as shit took a turn, there all 18 year old boys and she kicked one of them out as quoted “haven’t spent enough money”??? I’ve worked in different bars for 2 years and have never experienced that he was paying for his and his friends drinks just he wasn’t going up for them, she decided all of us to get kicked out when we asked why? And we were explaining why he wasn’t going up for them. Honestly do not recommend everyone Saids the same about her from in there disgusting behaviour from a manager would give 0 stars if I could!! Only gave one star for the bar staff Kenny he is just a laugh and honestly brightens the place up! Only good thing about the place!!

We went here for dinner as a last minute thing, and were not disappointed. The food was clearly fresh, and came out hot. The pizza is particularly lovely. Good beer, reasonable prices, excellent music, and the staff were so welcoming and nice. I'll definitely be making this place my go to for a quick pint or a nice dinner from now on!

Great music, Black Star Riders, Inglorious & Crobat to name a few. Hugh plates of food, sport on the big screen & awesome staff! Will definitely come again if I ever come back to Glasgow.

The food was good (I had the 'Reuben sandwich - pastrami, gherkins, sauerkraut & cheese) but the place wasn't as clean as it might have been. Table needed a wipe, and didn't get one. The guy on the bar was attentive and pointed out the lunch deals, without which this place is pretty pricy - especially for Paisley. The sandwich was smaller than I expected, so I was glad I had the deal with the chips. The chips were great! Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, cut slim with the skins left on. A guy round the corner was swearing his head off the entire time I was eating. I know that's not exactly within the staff's control, but it didn't make for a nice ambience. The music was quite good, even if not loud enough to drown out that guy!

What a surprise this place turned out to be. During a trip up north, I was turn whether to take a trip into Glasgow or eat at the airport, well there's a third way! The bar is light and welcoming, very comfy, good for groups too with big tables. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All kicks off with a desperados on tap, that is a rare treat alone, so much better than out of a bottle. The burger was amazing, all topped with just what I wanted, a build it yourself type menu. I also had the chilli cheese fries wow I could have just had these to be honest. They were without doubt the best chilli fries I've have so far! Huge recommendation for this place, would advise it is an essential visit if near by.
