If I could put 0 I would. Waited two hours. Kept being told food on the way and the woman answering phone is exceptionally rude
Waited over 2 hours today for a delivery. Phoned 4 times to chase it up. Eventually told that the driver couldn't find us and they would have to make our order from scratch. The girl on the phone was very rude " what do you expect me to do?"etc. We cancelled and went to Woks cuisine where we had our food made and handed over in 10 mins. Extremely disappointed - we were all starving and had been looking forward to it all day.
I really dont know what's happened to this place? Is it under new owners?? Chicken Breast Chow Mein, requested dry. Got home and it's covered in black tar which is salty as hell. Chicken bone dry even with the tar.
Missing item. We ordered 2 items, and the person taking the order repeated everything back. Waited well over an hour for delivery, which wouldn't normally bother me its Friday they're busy when it arrived one of the items was missing. Phoned up to be told it wasn't on the slip, so we didn't order it. We did. They repeated it back at the time. Said they would send the missing item, but we would have to pay - paying isn't an issue, but having to wait another hour for the rest of the meal is. Seems like it's a regular occurrence with other reviews. Shame because the food is actually nice but the service is absolute rubbish - save your time and money go elsewhere.
Food is so tasty, the best Chinese takeaway we've had in the area. Service in store is always great- polite and friendly. Place is spotless (you can see through to the kitchen from the waiting area). Cash only but well worth the trip to the atm!
Been here a few times and they do great salt n chilli chips. Don't take card payment which is unfortunate but card machine across the road. Would recommend
Took a chance and changed from our normal Chinese and it paid off easily becoming one of the best Chinese takeaways in Kirky
Had verbal confirmation twice that a dish we ordered was part of our order. When our home delivery arrived it wasn't included. Mr Rice said it was our fault as we hadn't ordered it! Shocking service and we will never go back.
I have had food before from here and it was great but really disappointed tonite no taste of chilli on it for being salt& chilli and food, was dried up, put me off
Excellent service and price, delivery was quick and food was excellent, best chinese in Kirkintilloch. I have used a few including Sung Garden in Lenzie but Mr Rice has my vote. A1 guys.
