   Absolutely fantastic experience! Kazuko welcomed us into her beautiful home and guided us through making perfect sushi rice, nigiri, and maki. She’s warm, knowledgeable, and makes learning fun. The sushi was delicious—and we even took home leftovers! Highly recommend, especially as a unique gift.

   My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our sushi course master class with Kazuko last Friday. She has a lovely home and kitchen setup with plenty of space. She took the time to explain each step of the process, detailing each ingredient along with any health benefits, where it is sourced from and why she uses it. The instructions to make the rolls from start to finish were clear and concise. Kazuko was patient and would correct us when needed and celebrate with us when we managed to get it right. The outcome was a delicious three course Japanese meal with an unforgettable view of the surrounding valley through a large glass window. Kazuko's personal approach meant we were very comfortable, learned a great deal, and will certainly be back again to try another of the available courses.

   Kazuko is a warm and welcoming host who is more than happy to share her knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture. My wife and I had a great time in this sushi class, learning to put together a number of nigiri and maki dishes. The yellow tail tuna with Shiso and ginger might be my fave. The homemade miso soup and yuzu cheesecakes were great additions to the food experience. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to booking the next course.

Kazuko is extremely welcoming and very friendly, she makes learning the craft of Japanese culinary skills extremely enjoyable! I would recommend going to Kazuko to anyone that enjoys cooking and/or enjoys learning about Japanese culture! Thank you for an awesome time!

   I bought this lesson for Evie and Leon as a Christmas present. From the handmade cards to the lesson itself, everything was fantastic. Kaz made them feel so comfortable and they had a fantastic morning cooking. Nothing was missed out and they also learned a lot about Japanese culture with food. Brilliant time! Will book again.

   We had a wonderful evening with Kazuko and would highly recommend booking one of her sessions. She is such a lovely lady who gently guided us to create delicious and beautiful Japanese dishes and we were amazed at what we could achieve! Kazuko is very knowledgeable and we particularly enjoyed chatting about the health benefits of her native cuisine. Rounding the evening off with a delicious, beautifully presented three course meal was just perfect!

The food she prepared was delicious and the cooking lesson was even more than we hoped for. We went for the 3 course meal with a sushi cooking lesson and would recommend to everyone.    My sister and I were given a gift of a sushi lesson, which we upgraded to a 3 course meal with sushi lesson included what an Absolutely fantastic experience. Kaz came to my house with her boxes and rice cooker and taught us how to prepare sushi. Kaz then provided a Japanese soup, gyoza, dessert and Japanese tea to finish the meal. And we had the wonderful Temari sushi as main course that Kaz had taught us to make. Kaz was friendly and answered all out questions about Japanese food, we learnt a lot. She also provided the recipe card at the end of the session. I was a little apprehensive, having a stranger in the house, I need not have worried it was a wonderful experience, Kaz put us at ease, the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend. Best sushi I have ever had.
