Best Madras I've ever tasted in my life ..sweet nan bread ..stunning ..spicy onions superb..can't be beaten

Wasn’t impressed with the food. Didn’t like the spicy onions, wasn’t keen on both lamb curries I had. The meat was a bit chewy. The mango chutney was decent and so was the naan and rice. 50 mins for collection also. Doubt I’ll be back sadly.

Just had another fantastic meal selection from here. Friendly service and consistently fresh, authentic, delicious cuisine. **edited** amazing food but sadly I've stopped using here as the collection was rarely ready on time, despite being ordered well in advance. Last (and final) time it was 45mins later. Eventually it became unacceptable to me. One explanation offered was that a larger order came through. Short sighted as they've lost a regular customer.

Always ordsr from here. Staff are very plesant , Food is amazing.best kebabs ive had. Best murgh masla Garlic breads. Tikka , kormas etc. Everything i try has been great and freshly prepared . Worth the wait if walking in or if you dont want to wait order for pick up. How there isnt ques out the door is beyond me. Tried various places in edinburgh and lothians that have won awards etc bombay lounge dalkeith, ithias etc etc and they dont taste as good as food from here

I ordered first and last time . The vegetarian curry was tasteless and looks terrible! Such a shame that I didn't check reviews of the restaurant before ordering....

Well my food was slushy and not so hot. Chicken was just cooked, not raw, but rushed. Having said that, I waited 30 mins for it , so I think that was my first and last visit to Kohi-Noor.

Paid for meal then went to shop, came back to collect food, then was told I hadn't paid. Showed him exact change of a £20 note minus bottle of coke from shop and meal. He ripped me off, I told him to check camera for proof, he said it didn't work. Went hungry that night.

Always a superb meal from here. Very flavourful and freshly cooked. Yeah, sometimes it's not quite ready when you expect but that's because your meal is being prepared there and then. Goes to show that you don't need to go to a fancy looking Indian restaurant to enjoy a fine curry.

My family and I have enjoyed meals from the Kohinoor for several years and cannot fault the quality of their food which is freshly cooked at the time of purchase using fresh produce (not frozen!). The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would recommend you give them a try.
