Excellent place to come. Friendly staff and good value. Maybe in previous years the service may have been average as was the food. However I can honestly say the service and food was really good, things have definitely improved a lot. No complaints.
Can't fault it to be honest. I come here quite regularly for the £5 weekday menu and I've never been let down. The burger is really good, all the other dishes I've had have been bang on. Always piping hot. Friendly, and attentive staff. Miles better than similar offerings with day time deals on. The full price menu looks good too, with massive portions.
We come here most Saturday's. We enjoy the chatter with the staff, Jill, Sara, Brian & Natalia they make us feel so welcome. I've have honestly never had a bad meal or bad experience.
Stopped in for a bite and was genuinely impressed by the warm, welcoming vibe at Brewers Fayre. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. This is exactly what you want from a local pub! I went for the classic fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. The batter was golden and crisp, the fish was really fresh, Paired with a cold drink and a cozy seat, it hit the spot perfectly. I will definitely be back for another round
Visited here for some post golf food. The service was very slow. It looked to be short staffed. But it was just painfully slow. And or such a large place, it seemed quite empty, which made the waiting 10x worse. Car parking signs all very contradicting each other. Some say one thing and a different one, another thing. They don't have an app or order though like most pub/food chains...this is my preferred method, because I can take my time and pay and browse the menu all in one place... But ofc I don't need to stand and wait for ages... The choice was decent and the food came relatively quickly. Was tasty too. I would come back again, to try breakfast, but probably not main menu again.
We had an unplanned longer stay at the Premier Inn next door. We dined here for 7 days, breakfast and dinner. We received excellent friendly service from all the staff. Even though the breakfast is served buffet style, nothing was left long enough to dry out. Even though our stay was extended to 7 nights, we didn't tire of the evening menu. Plenty varied choices, and the portions aren't too big. However, if you do have a bigger appetite, there are options to upgrade your meal to a larger portion for not much more cost. We would definitely recommend dining here.
Absolutely love everything about this place and try to come at least once a month. It’s just a comfortable and friendly place and the food has always been excellent.
Disappointed. Ordered mushrooms to go on my burger and got 3 tiny pieces (about half a small mushroom). For 99p extra I'd have expected more than that!!
