Booked for a family meal last night. Totally ruined the full night. Firstly we started ordering for our large party (12)on the app as advertised to make it easier and due to the massive line at the till. After trying to add a voucher code the full order disappeared. Going to the bar and asking if it has actually gone, the guy at the till who was nice apologised and said yes sorry it's not the best app.. great so we decided to order at the till instead. The till service was nice and you could see they were understaffed, one of them did make a comment to the other about labour cuts from above. Not told about wait on food, we would have gone elsewhere. Im from a retail/hospitality background and understand sometimes these cuts do happen but the whole place was absolutely bouncing, the staff were stressed. Out of the table of 12 there was 6 that ordered starters, these took almost an hour to come out and 3 soups were sent back to being stone cold. We ordered a kids meal due out with the starters and had to ask for this. It then took what felt like another hour to get our mains, followed by a massive wait for pudding after the mains. There was plenty thank you for your wait. But no offer of fresh drinks. We were almost 4 full hours at the place due to the waits between the meals. Absolutely outrageous for something supposed to be a family get together prior to xmas. My nephew and father in law have been up all night sick too. Definitely will not be back and will not be recommending to anyone. The place was freezing cold too.

We had our staff Xmas night out at the Justinlees last Friday and it was excellent! The food was lovely and such excellent portion sizes. Lots of variety on the menu and for a more than reasonable price. Staff were incredibly helpful, attentive and friendly and we all had a lovely night out! Even the little touches like personalised, Christmas signs made a difference. We’ll definitely be back - thank you! KPPS staff.

Good food. Fast friendly service. You can always tell when Andy is working as it all runs smoothly. Four stars for atmosphere because it was a Wednesday night and quiet. Shame the steak is off the set menu but appreciate the price of beef at the moment.

This is really a nice place. We arrived quite late and the staff told us to quickly submit the orders before the kitchen closes. So thankfully, we sent our orders quickly. There are a few hits and misses with the food. The kids meal sausages were burnt and missing peas. The chicken burger was a bit dry. Know sauce would be good. The steak was chewy and lack sauce. Chicken tikka was good

I booked a wee corner of the restaurant for my daughter's surprise 21st birthday. We also ordered the buffet for 30 and ,oh my word, the amount of food you get for your money is amazing! Everything was so good, and made fresh for us on the day, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly to all my guests. I would definitely recommend this place if you are having a get together, we had such a good time.

A good local chain pub offering a decent selection of beers, wines and spirits. Food is fairly standard pub grub, buttermilk chicken burger is nice as are some of the classics like scampi/fish and chips. It's a pretty big place so there shouldn't be any trouble getting a seat, although as with most hospitality venues at the mo they seemed a little short staffed so some queues at the bar.

This is a nice place for a quick bite in an area without much alternatives. That said, It didn't meet our expectations ( I might be too harsh). The pub gives out an atmosphere of something better than just a neighborhood pub. But the food was just ok and nothing more than the average pub. It was Not bad overall. Do note that you self order with your phone from your table, with little interaction with the staff. We made a slight mistake in the order with the side dishes and were made feel it was our fault.

My wife and I plus the wee dog visited the pub very recently and found the food very nice and good value. There is an evening menu which has 3 course options and I had Rump steak and a starter for £9 and my wife had fish which we enjoyed. The main reason we ate there is due to it being dog friendly the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will go again.

Absolutely shocking place to go tired looking restaurant offering food if your would call it that staff which just got give no customer service what so ever. Prawn cocktail served on a plate chips which were no even cooked through and lasagne which had major hot spots through it chef Mike must have worked a double shift ohh and the nachos and cheese ain't no nachos here more like a thin nan bread cut into triangles and made crispy terrible. I will not be returning at all
