   While the curry may be the best in Bishopbriggs, the system of ordering a take away (collecting in person) is a complete shambles. I ordered a meal by phone at 6:54 and was told it would be ready to collect in 30 minutes. I was finally given my meal at 8:20, over 85 minutes after placing the order. Others in the cramped waiting area appeared to be similarly frustrated. Such a shame that the logistics of producing a meal on time appear to be beyond them.

   I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years, and it has always been fantastic. The last few times have not been what I would expect. I was there tonight with the mrs, final nail in the coffin for me I won’t be back. I ordered chicken tikka for a starter, but it should have come with a chainsaw to cut through it. Mains come out. Oh my god, that chicken was even worse. Sad to see yet another great place go down hill. For a Saturday night we booked a table as it’s normaly busy.Not tonight wonder why.

   Brilliant dining experience in a very authentic decorated Indian restaurant. I would highly recommend here as the food as exceptionally well cooked and very healthily sized portion sizes. Always feel totally full when leaving and never had a bad word to say about here. Totally worth its 5 star review as all the staff are also so friendly and welcoming.

   Been coming to the Delhi Darbar for over 20 years now. It has never disappointed in food or service. Billy and the team are so welcoming you are treated as a friend more than a customer. No matter how busy they are, the staff always make time for you.

   Ordered takeaway for Christmas Day as I could not face all the hassle that goes with Christmas dinner, I use the Delhi Darbar regularly and the food is always great however there was a 2 hour order time on Christmas Day so I though the quality might not be up to the usual standard given the volume being produced. I was wrong, the team at the Delhi smashed it, what a fantastic meal myself and the family had, I just love you guys, service with a smile and quality food every time. Thank you thank you thank you see you all soon have a fantastic New Year.
