   The staff went above and beyond, assisted me with decorations and had a vegan diet with no coriander and a group of 13 adults, they did amazing, the food was amazing, drinks. I would highly recommend and we celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in still at Jimbu, thank-you to all the staff that made this happen. Tracey

   We went in because my wife had been earlier in the week and was raving about the Biryani. She wasn’t wrong. We started with poppadom and a mix, spicy onion, mango chutney and the best mixed pickles (amazing). Chicken pakora was gorgeous. Crispy and lovely chicken. The star of the show was the biryani. It was delicate and beautifully cooked. The sauce which accompanied it was beautiful too. Rich and full of flavour. A bottle of Cobra to wash it down, perfect.

   First time dining here for their weekday set menu and it certainly won’t be the last. The food served here is so fresh, plentiful and great value for money. We started with the prawn cocktail which did have a small surcharge but was worth every penny. We opted for some different curries (I had chasni) for our mains with rice and garlic nan - wow 10/10. All dishes were served nice and warm, full of flavour and by a lovely member of staff. Give this place a go. You won’t be disappointed!

   They delivered my husband's starter, nothing for me. They delivered the main meals, mine was wrong, charged me for a bowl of chips while I waited for my meal ( still with no starter so I was starving.) However, food was lovely once it all arrived.

   Came here last year with my partner for drinks which were nice but we never tried the food. I came in today to do just that. I had the 3 course business lunch which consisted of Haggis Pakora (upgrade) Shrimp scampi w/ fries and a side salad and ice cream. It was great. Can't wait to bring my husband so we can have a nice lunch together. The staff are really nice and the place was clean! Thank you!

   30th Jan we came with the family for my daughters 21st . The service was absolutely outstanding.. the food was cooked to perfection. The prices were amazing for what we had. Would HIGHLY recommend VB&G to anyone . So welcoming and friendly. They helped set up balloons and delivered our cake. Outstanding restaurant xxx
