   Equis food has returned to its former Glory with its new owners! Fish suppers battee beautifully crispy, Chips tasty,food freshly cooked. The Lasagne and Meatballs are delicious too. The team are lovely and welcoming too!

   Was a regular here until now. Staff are always decent and I understand price increases, but a few occasions now the amount of chips with a fish supper is deplorable. Literally a handful, even with 2 fish. I don't know if it's intentional, but time after time it's the same outcome. Increasing prices and cutting back amount reasonably given is annoying and just insulting, even if the chips are undercookedmost of the time. Even the pasta is close to a tenner, the quality is awful and the portion does not resemble the amount it costs. Fix it.

   Walk in order 20:45 30/04/25 ordered smoked sausage supper, 3 pickles, can of irn bru. When I saw the chips they looked pale and undercooked. The person lifting them out the Fryer looked like an experienced person so didn’t question it. Upon eating the chips were completely tasteless. Even though I was starving I couldn’t eat the chips they weren’t right. Photo is of the chips before binning them. No point complaining I won’t be back.

   Was out to lunch with the Chatty Crafters' who meet at Eastfield Community Center. Organised by the folks that run the club. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon and we were well looked after. Thanks Carol and Co.

   Tried giardiani pizza and cheese macaroni with ginger beer. All the items tasted really good, especially the pizza and ginger beer. Pocket friendly, superb ambience and friendly staff. Definitely gonna visit again :)

   No chasing after haute cuisine on this venture and only non-bubbly comments will be offered. This was a cracking meal for any officianado of fish & chips. The food was brilliant,the atmosphere was truly relaxed and easy-going. I'm reliably informed that the ice-cream was primera ! For great food without any blitzkrieg on the wallet, Equi's would be very hard to beat.
