   Bang average local chippy and only ever used it when I couldn't travel to a decent one. Food is ok but cant say more than that. My recent order I did online. I ordered in the afternoon but you can specify a collection time which I chose 9pm so could collect on the way home form work. Order was confirmed and was given an order number. I showed up to collect it and they had no clue about my order. Gave them my order number and they are like nope and started going through order receipts with a couldnt care less attitude. The whole point of ordering in advance is to collect and go. My advice is go elsewhere. I will never be back

   If you're looking for halal fish and chips, this place is a solid choice. While it’s not a halal chippy overall, they’ve thoughtfully provided a separate fryer and batter specifically for halal fish and chips. The food is fresh and tasty, and the customer service is consistently friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

   Overpriced for decently average, greasy food, unfortunately the staff are very unwelcoming not to mention the Asian man who I presumed to be the owner looked fed up of his job and had a condescending and manipulative attitude towards staff. Perhaps that’s why they were so rude! Recommend going elsewhere.

   This is the best chippy, we have fish suppers from here every Saturday. Fish always freshly cooked, and the best chips. Love the fresh pizzas too, always get a spicy chicken pizza which is amazing. Staff always friendly and provide good service

   Visited Codfather on a busy Friday night, was given a few suggestions on what to try as it was my first time visiting, we decided to go for a fish supper, spicy chicken pizza & a kids meal. Couldn’t fault any of it the fish was cooked to order so when we got home it was still crispy, the spicy chicken pizza went down a treat, the staff were all very friendly & helpful, even taking time out to chat away to all the customers, I cannot wait to go back this is definitely a new favourite for our house

   I ordered a large fish supper . £9.30. I had asked that the chips be wrapped separately as my partner didn't want a taste of fish . Came to £10.30 . When I challenged him he told me that he had given me a small bag of chips that is considerably bigger than a supper portion? I'll let you decide if I'm being silly !

   1. Terrible hygiene.. they fry and touch food which touched money and all the dirty things. They cook with bare hands! 2. I clearly said that I want to make fish for supper which comes with chips, and cancle the other chips. When I said that I didn't want other chips they just ignored me and stared at me. Terrible service... 3. Oh and they don't wear masks in covid situation 4. for fried pizza, it's just cheap supermarket pizza fried, not made from scratch
