   I love Cova, the food is brilliant and usually the service is great. But I got served for takeaway from a woman with brown/black short hair who you could absolutely tell she was absolutely miserable. No smiles, no manners and when I was given my takeaway soups and toasties. She never gave me anything to carry all 4 items like any human could juggle soup? When I asked for something to carry, I was literally tossed a bag. I then I had to ask for a holder for my cups of soup which just made me feel like the worst customer ever. I struggled to get these in the bag then I ended up getting piping hot lentil soup on my hands and my jumper. Very disappointed by this.

   Came to Cova yesterday for lunch. The food was really good and the atmosphere was nice, but the service was pretty bad. Staff kept walking past us and stood around chatting at the counter, and it wasn’t even that busy. We waited quite awhile and were about to walk out before someone finally came over to take our order. Disappointing, especially because the food and setting were great.

   The perfect breakfast in East Kilbride town centre. Great food, great service, good prices and an ideal location when visiting the shopping centre. This time, it was a breakfast visit. Both my son and I gave it 10/10.

   Very small portions, paid £6.50 for the smallest portion of mac and cheese ever. Mac was great but wasn’t happy with the size at all

   First time back in 6/7 years. Pleased to see it’s still thriving despite it being let down by the centre. Foods nice, does the job, chips were a bit naff though tastes oily and old. Cheap and good quality food with great service.

   What a lovely place to eat. Had lunch with my daughter. The food was delicious, the salad that came with it was lovely and fresh. We were served by a lovely girl, Cara. She was on the ball, efficient, friendly and a big bonus to this lovely eatery. Will definitely go back. My daughter eats there regularly and has always spoke highly of it. Definitely worth five stars

   Went in for lunch & saw they did a 2 course deal which just under £8/head, which seemed very reasonable. Young waitress came over & took the order pretty quickly & received drinks. First course (Pate) arrived a little later than I though but didn't really worry me, when that was cleared I expected my main fairly soon after, I think after I watched a couple of other tables arrive, order, eat & leave I knew something was wrong. Had to go to the counter to remind them I still had a main to receive. When it did arrive, it was lovely but by then I wasn't really in the mood for it so left most, paid my bill & left. Overall, the food was very tasty but the service spoiled the experience.

   Visited on Tuesday 7th August 2018 for some lunch. We were seated quickly but nobody came to take our order after we got our drinks. We eventually flagged someone over and ordered two courses from the set menu. The tomato soup was great - thoroughly enjoyed it. We waited a further 20-25 minutes and then checked to see if our main course had been forgotten. The waitress confirmed that it has and we had to just ask for the bill to leave as we had an appointment elsewhere.
