Food is delicious with good sized portions. My friend and I have visited it a few times. The 1st time we went we ordered starters, we were so full up that we didn't have room for the main. We now order mixed starters and then go to deserts. Great value, staff are nice especially the young lad, sorry forget his name. Recommend

Had the Sunday roast deal. One word. DELICIOUS!!!! 10/10 highly recommend, great value for money and so tasty. Roast beef, homemade Yorkshire pudding, roasties, seasonal veg and gravy all for £14.50. Staff are friendly and attentive. The caramel apple pie was really great too. Chocolate fudge cake was fine. Can’t wait to come back : )

First time here as was recommended by someone. Food was great with generous portions, even the kids meals were perfect as in some places they can be quite small so it’s hard to judge whether to order an 8 & 10 y/o the kids or adults food. They got 2 courses and they were only £7.50 each which for the quality of food was great so good if you have kids. The bar and lounge are connected but the place is very big so we were sat in the far end lounge in a cracking and comfortable booth. The staff were great, quick and very attentive and even entered us into their prize draw as we went in on their 10th anniversary which was nice as we aren’t locals to the bar YET. The place is very clean plays good music which was just the right volume when dining out so we will definitely be back and looking forward to our next visit to maybe try something different although my salt n chilli beef noodles was delicious. Prices were good too for 4 people and 4 drinks, we were just over £50. Go to TGI’s for example and pay double for less quality and portion.

Xmas Day lunch with 3 young kids Service was good. Food was absolutely delicious and all came to the table hot. (roaster’s could have been cooked for a while longer) not really any atmosphere and nothing really for the kids. Which might have been nice.

Have tried twice this week to eat here on Sunday at 6.45 and we’re told that the they were not taking any orders for food. We had been trying to call to book for almost an hour perilously. Tonight again we tried to book and arrived just after 5 again the member of staff we are speaking to a lady with hair in a ponytail and glasses was extremely rude and confrontational when we asked how long the table would be. She did nt recognise that she had spoken to my sister originally and when we asked she went to speak to someone and then came back very belligerent and rude. The food here is normally great and we don’t usually have any issues however the attitude of this person has put me off coming back along with Sunday not taking orders at not even 7 o’clock. While sitting waiting in the table 4 other parties have left. I can litrally see 10 empty tables Extremely disappointing

Food and service lovely, the place was nice and warm and comfortable surroundings. These days a lot of places you go are really cold.

Went in about 6.30pm looking for a quick meal before going to a show in the town hall. Was told that the kitchen was not taking any food orders as a large table had came in a minute or two before me. It was a table of ten! The two things that annoyed me was firstly the way the staff talked to me very abrupt and with no apology just "naw there's nay food" secondly there was very few tables with food and the large group was about ten people! If they had said we are very short staffed and can't cope that might have been OK, but the dismissive attitude of the three members of staff that had their conversation disrupted by me was unacceptable. I got a glass of soda water for my wife it was about £2.50 not from a bottle but the draught what a mark up. I keep reading about pubs shutting down I hope this is one of them.

Last minute booking. The food was brilliant, tasty, and filling. Excellent portions, friendly and attentive staff. Christmas party season so loud and busy. Definitely be back again

Do not try and go in here without a reservation with 3/4 of the tables for food actually empty it was "simply impossible" to find a space for me and the wife. Thanks for the no business and no service just because you couldn't be bothered. Would have loved to have given an opinion of the food but alas impossible.
