   we had a lovely meal here, the staff was very accommodating and catered to the extra needs of some of our family regarding disability. always friendly and informative of any questions asked. we found the food comforting and portions are generous, I would encourage sharing food if you can to get the best experience.

   2nd time in for a take away under the new management, ordered a take away a chicken Pakora, Nan bread both good, the main course of Lamb Biryani was way over spiced with cinnamon, even bit into a shard of cinnamon bark totally overpowered the dish, made it inedible. Used the Royal Taj for a few years, won’t be back under the new owners. Their handling of the complaint was poor and short of what customer service should be, not prepared to replace the meal on the night, poor show

   First visit to this restaurant and it was OK. Good quality of food, just not enough of it. Prices were expensive for what you got. Even with a 20% discount we were surprised at the cost of the bill. Service was slow and we waited ages for our drinks. Would not consider this restaurant for another visit as there are plenty of better Indian restaurants in Paisley.
