   Expensive tea bags....we had two breakfasts and a pot of tea for two. The tea was about £3 fair enough. We were told we could get top up if tea too. When we asked for more a larger pot came over from a different waiter who said should add that to the tab even although we had already paid. When leaving we asked if we needed to pay for the extra pot of tea and were advised there was a charge of £7.50. When I queried it I was told it was that price because they used two tea bags. There now a couple of customers less. Thanks for coming back and letting me know. Just for clarity we weren't after a bigger pot just a refill. I do accept that there could have been more clarity...from both sides.

   Absolutely scunnered with the way I was treated and spoke to from the female manager today (20th sept),I booked the Abbey inn a week ago for my daughters baby shower.our party of 25/30 where all on there way to the baby shower.when we arrived to set the place up to be told we hadn't booked the conservatory!!!! Eh sorry we had last Sunday including the food at £11.99per head...on arrival today to be told we hadn't as it already had a booking of 50 people in it. They had set aside a long table in main eating area for my daughters baby shower..NO CHANCE I said we've booked the function area...no. again I was told. The manager said we don't hire out conservatory to only 25 people especially on a Saturday!!! Well let me tell u this .I myself spoke to one of your members of staff last Sunday and paid in full over the phone to book it..no see said. You must have spoke to someone at our head office!!!, I said and where would I have got that number as I definitely phoned this pub..her attitude dramatically changed towards my wife and I. I've got a pregnant daughter crying her eyes out in my car whilst I'm trying to sort this shambolic mess out..the stress that got put on my daughter was shocking...and uscas parents also. We booked and paid in good faith for this day to be a special day for my daughter the only decent thing that manager did today was refund us in full our payment back..but did she think for a minute the hassle and inconvenience you caused us today..with less than half an hour before guest were arriving we had to Facebook/phone/txt everyone that was going to change the venue ..thank you abbey inn for NOTHING you totally wrecked my daughters baby shower. Or should I say baby killer. Yes baby killer that's what you had sent bk on email what the function was for. I will myself boycott this place and let our friends know how use treat customers..absolutely diabolical shambles of a place . You made out this was our fault today with booking....sorry DONT THINK SO YOUR REPLY BACK IS PURE UTTER LIES

   The Abbey Inn was perfect for our night in the Glasgow area. The family room was small and compact but very well-appointed and had everything we needed. The shower was great - easy to use and lots of hot water. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals we had at the restaurant were really good and tasted very fresh. The pub atmosphere made it a fun place to hang out. Wish we could have stayed longer!

   We stayed here for a couple of nights and were very happy with our accommodation. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and the staff were very polite and helpful. An excellent bar area and beer garden, great service and great food. Excellent value for money.

   I stayed at The Abbey Inn 17/5:/25 and it was a very hot day so sat in the busy outside area and had a great afternoon whilst my room was being prepped I was out our that I couldn't get in till 3pm however as it was so lovely I had a couple of drinks and got chatting to a nice couple. It was extremely busy and I have to highly praise the fantastic staff and kitchen staff as I saw food was flying out and it looked fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the staff worked so hard. Onto the room now as I was on my own it was a single bed and though the room was small it had everything it was beautifully decorated and a fantastic large TV. Although it was very hot the room was lovely and cool and I used the fan provided which was great.. The bed was awesome just so comfortable and the bed linen just spectacular and pillows Lovely soft carpet and great tea and coffee facilities and a thing lacking in many top hotels Plenty of mirrors ladies!!! also immaculate bathroom and a great shower. I would recommend everything in the Abbey I loved it very much. Thanks so much x

   Fantastic & very welcoming staff & lovely experience had by all at this great wee pub & hotel. The rooms are absolutely flawless, very comfortable & pleasant. The service is charming & very obliging. The food, ambiance & overall experience is 2nd to none. I definitely recommend X

   Had lunch with friend today. Lady serving, wish I'd got her name, was simply fantastic. She really went above and beyond. We were in for an age today and there was no pressure to leave. Food was hot and tasty. Toilet facilities were clean with lovely Scottish soaps. Would recommend :)

   A fantastic place to stay. A very warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. A great nights sleep in a beautiful well equipped room and an amazing breakfast to finish off. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.
