2 nights in a row ....got my order wrong....used to love this place ....got king kebab tonight chicken and lamb sliced open .....poor amount....no sauce or onion as per order came later with it .....not good enough....last night no sauce just used what I had ......will not be ordering from here again
Ahhh.. Sohrab, the Indian food of Coatbridge is an excellent choice. For a town that doesn’t have spice of life I belong sohrab is a good substitute, their food is nice and inviting and as soon as you eat their food your genetic pool has now got a new gene in your DNA that tells you at night that you are now at least 10% Coatbridgion from now on..and that’s irreversible no matter if you like it or not. :). For people considering to eat here I’d recommend it if you’re comparing it to other places in the area.
Both Mrs' Sohrabs are always witty, attentive and accommodating, with a genuinely friendly demeanor. My go to meal is Chicken Korma and after 6 months of regular orders I want to say that the portions and taste are always consistent. They have outstanding chips, unusually good for a takeaways, non greasy deep fried and crispy. As someone who often struggles to find tasty, comforting food from a local takeaways I want to say that their chicken corma tastes like something your grandmother would make you if you get ill, during your Xmas holidays. Simply delicious, moorish comfort meals.
Served by the most cheeky and rude dame. To make matters even worse, the food was absolutely disgusting. The Donner meat was undercooked , so went in the bin.Waste of money and don't want another case of food poisoning from this joint. The shop next door is far superior and cleaner. Certainly won't be getting my custom again
Chicken pakora was a disgrace 6 pieces hardly coated 1cm in thickness and 6 cm in length absolutely shocking

Been travelling here for years from Glasgow for donner kebabs, and was very disappointed with my latest visit. I asked for my usual 3 donner kebabs with pitta bread instead of naen and i literally got 25cm of thinly cut donner meat inside the closed pitta along with the salad. Very dissatisfied. Think il maybe have to start ordering elsewhere as last two visits I've been left dissatisfied. Whether its new owners or staff I dont know.
Got mixed doner kebab its chicken and doner meat. It’s was absolutely minging, kebab meat really pale in colour and the chicken was just horrible tasting. The nan it came was was stone cold. First and last time will be going here.
Just had a take away delivered. Mixed tikka main meal. Worst I have ever had! I usually order from here all the time, love the food normally but tonight it is unbearable. Completely ruined. Something strong and potent in the curry sauce, it's foul. Like eating clove oil with a touch of spice. The chicken and lamb have a taint to it that just ruins the taste of the meat. On a plus the naan was perfect and done with extra garlic like I asked for and the salad is good.
