Ordered a large amount of food 4 meal with 2 rice mushrooms, prawns crackedr to take away ,on arrival to pick up meals the guy at counter attitude was very rude , Meal was OK, but the prawns cracker burnt , mushrooms where disgusting lying in a tub of oil the meal was a waste of money not even hot
It was my first time in Musselburgh and I went to the first nearby Chinese takeaway. The service was very nice and friendly. The food came fast and was really warm, good portion sizes, and most importantly it was delicious! I would recommend and honestly it's better than 80% places that I've been too. Thank you.
Ordered the shrimp fried rice and the beef and Chinese mushroom dish. Wanted to support a place a bit since COVID has been tough on businesses. For £11.5 the portion was small. The mushrooms were nice but the beef was low quality and the sauce thin and bland. The other vegetables weren’t well cooked. The rice was better but again, a bit bland and not enough shrimp or egg.
Must be a new owner or chef. Food is absolutely rotten, the curry sauce is like brown dull water with zero taste. The salt and pepper chips weren’t salt and pepper they were just you box standard chips, even at that they were burnt and greasy. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT AS SOON AS YOU TASTE IT!!
First and last time here. The worst Chinese meal I have ever had. Sweet and sour soup was an inedible mush. Ribs were covered in jelly like dog food. Beef dish that had no beef just masses of onions.Terrible that places like this exist taking money for supplying food of this standard. Simply disgraceful.
Usually go to the Dynasty across the road but as it was closed, thought I'd try Focus. First impressions; not too chuffed that you can't pay by card. Luckily I had enough cash on me. Next problem was that I had to wait almost half an hour for my order of special fried rice and a portion of chips ?? On the plus side, the food was actually pretty good. Can't see me going back here though with other options nearby.
Not too bad... I satisfied with my order. But I can't recommend to anyone.
