    Last Saturday, 9 August 2025, during a spontaneous visit to charming Bromsgrove, I dropped into The Maxx Tattoo Studio for a small lettering piece on my arm with a mate —and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The artist balanced professionalism with a laid-back friendliness. Before Ink Even Touched My Skin… They took time to understand exactly what I wanted for the lettering—considering font styles, size, and placement with such thoughtful care. Their design suggestions were spot-on, showing a real eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the craft. During the Tattoo… Every step felt smooth and precise. The lines were crisp; the ink flowed evenly, and there was a clear sense of pride in their technique. The tattoo turned out cleaner than I’d imagined—simple yet elegant, executed with absolute confidence. What stood out most was how approachable and chatty the artist was, making conversation easy throughout the process. Their genuine passion for tattooing shone through, transforming what could have been an anxious experience into an enjoyable and memorable one. I can't recommend this studio enough if you fancy some fresh ink!

    Love this place already! Visited today to have a vertical labret pierced and honestly the woman was amazing!! Made sure to give me exactly what I wanted even though it wasn’t the normal asking placement - couldn’t recommend her enough ! She Was so nice and calm throughout the whole time and was gave me extra balls for replacement ✨thank you so much I really do love it ✨

    I've done a lot of research on tattoo artist s/studios and definitely find the diamond!! I can't praise Shannon enough. She's did an amazing cover up on my back and now doing my second tattoo. I love the ideas she comes up with and never does the same picture twice. The vibe in the studio is amazing too. Everyone is very friendly and great laugh. Never going anywhere else again and can't recommend them enough!!

    Went on Saturday with my severe needle phobia (long history) daughter who desperately wanted her belly button pierced. We’ve been somewhere else where it was a no go. Called The Maxx after hearing good things about them. Popped in at told to do, Wow (I think it was Tash) was amazing, so understanding, patient and caring, talked and explained everything to my daughter, told her we’ll go your speed when your ready, it took 3 attempts but she did it, my daughter was crying with joy. Tash and the team you are fantastic and I can’t thank you enough. One very happy daughter !!

    PROFFESIONAL, CARING AND JUST AMAZING ARTISTS. Today I had a tattoo in rememberence of my dad. From the moment I arrived into the studio they all made me feel relaxed and like I was part the family. I had an idea of what I wanted for my tattoo, but what Shannon designed was beyond what I had imagined. What I loved is that they all came together with ideas about how to make it the best and all help each other to do so. Tasha offered me a drink and went out her way to ask me if I wanted anything from the shop. During the sitting it was professional, done with care and amazing attention to detail. Even though it was professional, because they are a family run business it makes an amazing atmosphere and just makes you feel like u have gone round to see a friend or family member. Both my brothers have had tattos done here and and the work is beyond amazing. I CANT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! I have done nothing but show it of to whoever I could and tell them were I had it done. I will be booking back with these guys as soon as I can afford my next tattoo.
