   We have been using Indus for the last fifteen years to help organise our tailor made holidays. Every detail has been taken of and thought through. The office staff at Indus have been so helpful and encouraging. Their expertise and personal knowledge of the countries and hotels in Asia have been incredible. We have just returned from another wonderful holiday. This time touring the Deccan area of India. The drivers and guides we had made the holiday so special.    Members of Arts Society Ebor and friends had a fantastic autumnal trip to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan engagingly led by the textile travel writer and Arts Society lecturer Chris Aslan. His connections and fluency in Uzbek made this a trip with an unique insight into the rapidly changing part of the world. We also had opportunities to see many craft workshops and the silk carpet production from worm to knotting . A memorable experience.

   My wife and I were lured to Ladakh for the Tibetan Buddhist Festivals, and the team at Indus Experiences put together a terrific itinerary around the Yuru Kabgyat festival at the Lamayuru Monastery which is over a thousand years old. We were met at Leh airport by our guide Lobzang and our driver Nurboo and for the next 10 days they were generous sharing their knowledge of the region, their insights and anecdotes. All the arrangements worked out perfectly: the hotels chosen and the meals provided were excellent. The scenery was inspiring and we had great fun getting to know the region, with some adventures along the way.

   Fantastic holiday based on the Deccan. Well organised with extremely helpful early input to obtain permission to bring prescription drugs into India. This part of the Deccan is a relatively unvisited area and we were normally the only Europeans to be seen. The sites visited were quite mind-blowing. Everyone was so friendly and our driver, Murali went above and beyond to look after us. Guides (with a single exception) were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and really seemed to appreciate our interest. We have no hesitation in recommending Indus Experiences.

   My husband and I have just returned from an 18 night private tour to India organised by INDUS EXPERIENCE - starting in Mumbai , followed by Varanasi, Delhi, Agra, Udaipur and Jaipur. . The experience was amazing ! Better than we could have imagined .We were taken great care of thanks to wonderful private guides, drivers and representatives who could not have done more for us . Almost every detail was perfect and when we had a small Issue , it was dealt with immediately and with a smile ! We truly felt like honoured and privileged guests wherever we we went . INDUS also were very helpful before we left, as the Visa situation became complicated and frustrating at that time. Yasin the owner , guided us through the maze of paperwork and was always patiently on hand , to help and advise . So appreciated! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this highly organised, knowledgeable and efficient agency and we have already made up our minds to visit India again in the near future.!    I joined a 2 week Geology-Trip to Oman with the Professors Mike Searle and Bruce Levell from Oxford University - organized by Indus Travel. Since I was the only participant not from the UK, everything had to be organized a bit separately for me - eg transfers from/to airport at Muscat and additional hotel stays there. All worked perfectly well, and the communication with Yasin / Asyia was easy, fast and reliable. The local organization and support by Al Muhalhal was perfect, flexible and very reliable. So I could fully enjoy the fascinating country and its absolutely rich and unique geological aspects. Thank you!

   I travelled to Ladakh with Indus Experiences, and the trip included a multi-day hike in the Hemis National Park. We had an excellent local trekking guide, and the porters were fantastic. They brought everything we could possible need, and cooked some wonderful meals. The route we chose was tough, but the scenery was exceptionally beautiful and we had a real sense of achievement at the end. The accommodation was good, the transfers arrived on time, and the drivers were friendly and competent. The tour was competitively priced.
