   The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food usually tastes great! However, I’ve noticed that sometimes the food can be a bit cold or not as fresh, especially on Saturdays. Maybe it’s because of batch cooking or busy hours. Still, overall it’s a good place with tasty dishes and good service!

   Avoid at all costs! I was deeply disappointed by the poor customer service we received from this Chinese takeaway. After making a genuine mistake while ordering — one involving an allergy — my son returned to the restaurant to explain. Instead of handling the situation with understanding or professionalism, the staff chose to lecture him at length, insisting on proving he was wrong and making it clear he should not “do it again.” This response was not only inappropriate but also deeply disrespectful and left my son in a very uncomfortable public situation. Allergies are a serious matter, and while we acknowledge our error in ordering, a courteous and helpful response from staff would have gone a long way. Instead, their condescending tone and eagerness to assign blame was unacceptable. Because of the way my son was treated, I returned the full order — completely untouched — and made it clear I didn’t want a refund. One wasn’t offered anyway. Unfortunately, I was met with more of the same attitude: another lecture, not an apology or empathy. Surely respect for customers is the bare minimum one should expect. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone who values basic courtesy.

   The pearl Chinese has forever been my favourite, i remember going there as a kid and the staff were so nice especially wee debbie. I moved further out from here now but still go as often as possible and have never had a bad meal couldn’t recomended them enough. SPLENDID

   Everyone must try ! Best Take away in Cumbernauld Fast delivery - Food is Tasty, Fresh and Roasting hot. Wouldnt go anywhere else ! Favourite Dish is Chicken Satay Stir fry

   We ordered the Salt and Chilli munchie box. Everything was soggy, which made the meal pretty unedible. Ended up throwing the majority in the bin, waste of food. The only positive was the delivery was fast, about 25 minutes.

   Ordered takeaway from the Pearl for the first time in a couple of years. Have to say I have never been so disappointed. Curry sauce strange colour and looked congealed, poor quality chicken and soggy chips. Not cheap either compared to better takeaways in Cumbernauld Never again

   Quite high priced considering other local take aways. Food was not that good to be honest, I must treat ourselves to a takeaway a month and this did not match up to my expectations and price wise too expensive anyway.

   Very reliable takeaway shop. Standard chicken curry is dark orange (not yellow like most other places), very unique tasting and served in a smaller rice container, but still very filling - get a large if you like more sauce. I recommend adding cashews, onion and extra hot, it's a game changer. Enjoy trying various different dishes and am seldom disappointed. Poor ribs but haven't had good ones from any takeaway, so there are some things that let it down (imo). That being said, every main I've had has been great. Strongly recommend chicken satay skewers and salt & pepper dry chicken, absolute fantastic mains.
