   I ordered Char Sui fried rice. The rice was bland, the Char Sui was just regular roast pork and the most flavourful ingredient in the dish was the onion. Disappointed on this visit. Usually my go-to Chinese.

   So disappointed first time in years had a rubbish meal. Rice had burnt taste hardly any sweet an sour sauce everything cold except for chips.

   I made an order here tonight on their website, they charged me the £30+ for the food, I waited an hour and just as I was about to phone them I got a text saying the delivery was on the way. I waited another 20 minutes and tried to call them, got no answer. I then drove up to the store at 22:30 to speak to them but the shop was closed. I complained by email and they responded by text about 2330 all that was offered was a refund or to send the food the following day. Absolutely useless and horrible customer service.

   Great food and you can tell that its quality products that they use. Always delicious and it never disappoints. There are closer Chinese takeaways to us but it's worth going the extra distance. Would highly recommend it.

   I don't normally write reviews but after seeing the negative reviews for Oriental Red i feel that a fantastic meal deserves to be shared. We ordered the half a duck and pancakes not sure of portion sizing and we were very pleasantly surprised a huge tray of tasty duck with no fat in sight greeted us. It was nicely warmed and accompanied by a generous portion of pancakes, sauce, cucumber and spring onions. After the duck which provided plenty of leftovers we tucked into Peking ribs and salt and pepper ribs which were also tasty. The salt and pepper ribs were a touch dry with a mild spicy flavour. My partner would have liked them with more heat but I liked them as they are. That is of course personal preference and cannot please everyone The Peking ribs were perhaps less proportionate to the salt and pepper ribs but that's a mild complaint. Along with the ribs we had fried rice, chips and a generous portion of curry sauce all of which were bang on. I refrain from leaving a five star review because we didn't have any main dishes of which I cannot comment. I do however highly recommend the duck!
