   Today was the first time that I have bought from the Silver Moon. I didn’t know what I was missing. The Red Chicken breast curry was excellent. Extra onions recommended. Service with a smile. I will certainly be back to try their other dishes.

   Had breast of chicken chow mein (thick noodles). The gravy, noodles and veg were lovely. Nice surprise to have ham through it. One star off as the chicken was sadly very dry. Lady serving was very pleasant.

   Best chinese in Motherwell Dom and staff very friendly and food first class, i ordered a couple of new dishes tonight shredded beef with peking sauce and a chicken chow mein absolutely fantastic. Thank you silver moon.

   Travelled from Larkhall to go to the silvermoon as I hadn't been for a couple of years. Ordered a breast of chicken curry, fried rice and prawn crackers...on returning home I discovered I had been given a beef curry and not chicken. Rather than waste more time and petrol returning to Motherwell I dished up and was severely disappointed...beef was tough, curry all but tastless and prawn crackers just tasted of old oil. The bin got more than I did... lesson learnt. Never again will I darken that shops door...I should have gone to the Yee Tung like I normally would.

   Honestly this was the last straw. This used to be the best Chinese in Lanarkshire BUT since this new owner/chef took over its absolutely shocking. I look forward every week to a take away now i will need to find a new Chinese. If I wanted boiled onions or boiled meat just through into a sauce I would get my kids to do it you can do this and expect people to pay for this it’s a disgrace.
