Got roast spring chicken tonight gravy was absolutely horrible very sweet don’t know if it’s changed hands as they hadn’t a clue what gravy was also chicken balls looked like roast potatoes pic included
Avoid the crispy duck! Never been served crispy duck the way we got it from here tonight (and not in a good way). We ordered half a duck, but it must've been a very small duck. Definitely not worth £18. The duck wasn't shredded or crispy and it was served with the thick rubbery skin on. Very disappointing.
Just got beef curry extra onions fried rice extra egg extra spring onions and I have never tasted anything as tasty delicious flavoursome in my life to die for amazing Olivia
The only reason I'm leaving 1 star is because 0 stars isn't an option. Officially the worst Chinese takeaway we've ever had. Generic, sweet tasting, neon red sauce over both meals and no flavour whatsoever. Notwithstanding the one of the meals was supposed to be beef and instead we were given chicken. "Salt and Chilli Chips" were nothing more than chips with some last minute onion and pepper chucked in. Again, zero flavour. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
It's a busy place at best but there was only one server on duty to take orders and take calls. They need to get the staffing right. The food was OK but a little on heavy side with the White pepper I thought which marred the Chicken & Sweetcorn soup which I like. All said and done not shabby
Used to order from these guys and was decent, called after I found them not on another site we used to order Asked if they delivered to my area, after consulting with the delivery driver the distance, they agree and take the order....about 10 mins later they call and say 'delivery driver isn't prepared to travel that way' cool so now it's too late to order from somewhere else - so even when pandemic is done I won't be back
Got a chicken curry the sauce and rice was fine but the chicken was gooey and tasted funny will not be back sorry but was discussing was told the shop was one of the best but defo not for chicken curry
I would give zero stars if it was an option. Nearly had a heart attack when the lassie said £4 for a SMALL chips and curry sauce, which definitely wasn't curry, was like dish water. Absolutely atrocious prices for portion sizes. Get it anywhere else for half the price.
Food is actually pretty good but prices are over the top. Pancake Roll £3.40 for the size they give is a joke!... Everything is dearer...no price given on the the phone and no receipt. Have been using for years and feel ripped off. Will now shop around!
