   Ordered breast of chicken curry mild with fried rice and the sauce was really watery! I am really disappointed as I've not had a Chinese in ages, especially after just finishing work. So I was looking forward to this the whole day. I also ordered a portion of salt n chilli chips. These chips were really nice, great size of chip and portion size was decent. Definitely won't be ordering any type of curry from here again!!! Disappointed!!!

   The name which is a district of Hong Kong puts some folk off and means they miss trying this very good Chinese takeaway. The fact its thriving after over 3 decades with the same name and owners, while dozens of others locally have come and gone should be enough evidence for anyone moving to the area to give it a go.

   Being going here for over 40 years, unfortunately my wife went for chips spare Ribs and chicken noodle soup.(06/09/2025) soup lovely, chips were yesterdays reheats hard and stinky, ribs were stone cold with very little sauce, this is not the firs time it has happened, but will be my last. On phoning up to complain I was informed they were to busy no apology, so the wife took it back for a refund, its getting dearer and the food is now disgusting, time to retire jimmy and find a decent chef, we get 3-4 Chinese a week on average, I hate the fact it was at one point my favourite. To sum up I will never be back, I ended up going to the chinese at the co-op absolutely beautiful and much cheaper, shame after all these years R.I.P Sha-tin

   Firstly the shop needs a tidy up and refit. Plenty of on street parking to the front. On to the food. The mixed satay was lovely. Really good quality chicken and beef. Would highly recommend. So why only a 4 overall - well I also had pancake rolls - they were the greasiest I have ever seen - the oil came out of the bag they were in and covered everything else in the bag. Maybe I was just unlucky - was a real shame as they were well filled and very tasty.

   Nicest Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Beef and mushroom was prepared to my liking with a thick gravy and you could taste the freshness of the chicken curry. Delivered quickly and still hot. What’s not to like
