Our week on the Anemi with Mack and Fleur was truly amazing, they are the best. We had such a wonderful sail, we went to some tiny ports and experienced the best of the Cyclades, the beautiful bays and the clear water. As Mack was a super skipper, Fleur created absolute magic in the galley, thank you both for making our trip so fabulous.
We had an unforgettable week sailing in Greece with George and Georgia as our crew. George was an excellent skipper—he knew all the hidden gems and best places to anchor, and he skillfully navigated around bad weather so we could enjoy sunshine, swimming, and relaxing every day. Georgia made the trip extra special with her amazing meals. Every dish was different, beautifully prepared, and so delicious—ranging from traditional Greek food to creative twists like a Thai-inspired lunch. She also organized fun excursions and pointed us to the best spots for sunset drinks and dinners ashore. Together, George and Georgia made our holiday absolutely perfect. Their knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail turned a great trip into something truly exceptional. Could not recommend them more!
What an amazing week in the Ionian Islands. We spent 7 glorious days with 6 of our besties. Our skipper Philli and host Rhianna ensured we all felt safe and comfortable in the boat. Their flexibility meant we had tme to call into small fishing villages and enjoy the best of the local cuisine and wines. Each morning we were briefed on the days swimming locations and time spent sailing between picturesque locations. Thank you girls for a dream holiday!
I refer to our recent Yacht Getaways experience. We’ve had a truly memorable week exploring the Ionian islands in the safe hands of skipper Philly and wonderful host Rhianna. These two ladies are to be complimented for their professionalism, diligence, multi tasking ability, customer centricity, good humour and ‘can do’ attitude. They are superb ambassadors for Yacht Gateways Our sincere thanks to both Philly & Rhianna for the expert manner in which they took care of our party of eight last week leaving us with a treasure trove of great memories. We had a fabulous week on the boat (Greece Lefkada Explorer) with 3 other couples (friends) and great crew looking after the boat and us so well (highly competent skipper Philly and hardworking, genuine host Rhi). Beautiful swimming stops each day and docked at a different pretty island village each night. Relaxing and fun. Good communications from YG from time of booking. No hassles or surprises.
This was our second trip with Yacht Getaways. We LOVED our last year Croatia trip so we came back for Cyclades, Greece on Prestige yacht. We were glad to have picked Prestige a bigger yacht over a smaller ship/Superior. Also, we were glad to pick king size room rather than the smaller one. It’s still tight but having the extra space was definitely nicer. We had a fabulous crew both Dal and Bri, I can’t say enough nice things about them. Every breakfast and lunch on board were delicious and healthy! One thing: I wish they provided extra towels. We only had one bath and one face towel per person for the entire 7 day trip. That was tough.
What an amazing week sailing the Cyclades! Captain Ion and Admiral (hostess) Lauren helped to make our week on the water an unforgettable experience. A true Explorer route, each day's travels brought us to pristine coves and stunning beaches, with every new port showcasing its unique character and charm that would make anyone fall in love with Greece.
Great trip in Montenegro! We sailed with Richard and Liv in Montenegro and had an amazing week. The boat was clean and comfortable with Aircon and all mod cons. It's still a boat, not a hotel, but it was as comfortable as possible. We sailed on a catamaran which meant the boat felt a lot more stable than a monohull and we experienced minimal sea sickness even on windy days. The skipper and host were both very friendly and very amenable - they took us to great spots for swimming, snorkelling, dining and great views. Meals were varied and well prepared for all the guests with fresh ingredients picked up at most ports. No complaints!
I can’t say enough how amazing Ellen and Matt were on our yacht getaway trip through Croatia. Ellen made the most delicious food keeping all of our bellies full with organic home cooked meals while being full of energy and joy all week long. Matt kept us safe sailing the Adriatic Sea taking us secluded gorgeous swimming lagoons, taught has some sailing basics, and made us laugh the whole time. I’ve never had a better week in my life.
Just finished an outstanding week sailing in the Cyclades Islands in Greece with Yacht Getaways and our crew Davide, (champion skipper, for sure) and Katy (host and chef extraordinaire). It was an excellent week with fantastic breakfast and lunches on board and wonderful ports at nights. Strong north winds may have been a challenge for us passengers but not for our sure-handed skipper, Davide. We always felt safe and well cared for. We would highly recommend the trip mostly because of the staff and location even though the booking process was less than optimal due to Covid and traveling being delayed and rescheduled. The boat was in great condition and the cabins were spacious and well maintained.
