   Tall blonde man in costa dealt horribly with a wheelchair user when the fire alarm went off in the store. The way he spoke to customers was awful and seemed like we were more of an inconvenience than anything else. He shouldn’t work with the public

   I visited here as an unpaid carer/ volunteer with an elderly disabled woman with sight and hearing impairment. She made purchases which I was carrying for her due to the weight etc plus her mobility issues but as we were leaving the scanners beeped due to a security tag not being removed off a pair of shoes which i noticed almost immediately after it beeped. I was about to alert the woman I was with, about was happening and that i would need to return to the cashier when a woman (who did not identify herself as next staff) grabbed the bag off me, and charged off, up to the cash register. I had to chase after her leaving the disabled woman I was escorting alone to try and keep up despite it being her purchases. I was worried about doing so. They pulled out everything and checked the reciept thoroughly and repeatedly (luckily I asked for printer receipt not an email one) acting like I was a shop lifter despite it being clear that the shoes still had a tag on them. They destroyed a set of jewellery purchased as a present by the disabled woman for someone, because of the way they threw everything carelessly back in the bag. She was very upset at the damage caused. The disabled woman was confused as to why I had gone back into the shop and was forced to stay waiting for me. If it had been my shopping I would have returned all the items because of the way I (and the disabled woman) was treated. I think some training is needed for staff with relation to those with disabilities, as ignoring a disabled person and only dealing with their carer is not appropriate nor is running off at a pace that an elderly person who is sight impaired cannot keep up nor see where her purchases had gone.

   I went in to swap sizes from an online purchase. Clueless where to look in the ladies section for the item I was swapping over I asked a member of staff for help. The assistant was brilliant and couldn’t be more helpful. Great service and definitely will be back.

   Tried calling the store today about a lost card. Put through to an offshore call centre, when I explained that I had to speak with the store directly they put me on hold then cut me off Twice. Shocking customer service.

   I did not get chance to thank lovely lady who helped us find the baby hat I was looking for! She went above and beyond to help us, offered different options! What a brilliant service it was! I was looking for lady to thank but couldn't find her. It was arround 2pm on 21/11/21. If managers are reading this review please thank lady on our behalf who helped a couple with 5 months baby girl looking for double pompom hat.

   Went in today and purchased a lovely blouse. They had some beautiful summer clothes. There were 2 members of staff on the shop floor. Neither made eye contact or greeted me. The lady on the till was lovely, very friendly processed my purchase no problem, asked if i found everything i was looking for and wished me a nice day as I left.
