   Was delighted to find that, after considerable weight loss, I now fit in to clothes from River Island. The staff were extremely helpful and patient as I tried on a load of items, and in directing me to items they thought would be good on me.... thank you. (Also, great prices and good quality)

   Older gentleman on tills needs to be trained on customer service skills Very rude. Visited this store so many times over the years and the way i was spoken to over the way i opened a delivery bag was dreadful you would think i had committed a crime. No wonder people shop on line if that’s the kind of service in store

   Worst customer service EVER, very very racist old angry employee made my experience a nightmare I spent nearly £400 and I think I regret it, I shoulda spent my money else where because this man is an absolute racist. So so rude. I rarely leave bad reviews and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad shopping experience like this this man’s an utter racist. He needs to be fired ASAP especially with river island having alot of customers from different ethnic backgrounds, you guys cannot afford to have a man like this as staff, so racist. The minute I walked in he started giving me looks then when I was looking at some shirts feeing the materiel he’s sticking his head over looking, as if I’m stealing!? I picked his attitude up straight away and his hostility. Truly disappointing, disgusting and upsetting I want this man fired! Old 50, glasses, 5’7, skinny jeans, hoodie fire him befroe you lose out on thousands of pounds of Business from people who aren’t white.

   Myself and my newly husband were in your store on Friday and the lady that was helping us Hazel I think her name was, was very helpful and attentive! We were looking for a bomber jacket that wasn’t on the shop floor but it was in the stockroom, Hazel went and retrieved this for us after a call to the Dundee store as that’s where we initially seen the jacket first and we can’t thank this lady enough also but unfortunately we never caught her name! Just a wee message to say thank you to both sales assistants. The male shop floor assistant was very off putting though so it would’ve been full stars if this wasn’t the case, he was following us around the store! Keeping a close eye on us and it felt rather uncomfortable. But we did spend more money than we thought because Hazel was great and we both love our new coats :)
