Very bad customer service experience from one of the staff called Emma! Very bad attitude and very rude. You can tell she does not like this job and doesnt care. Assistant manager Aiden wasn’t helpful and all he could do is not taking any responsibilities. Management should check the cctv what the staffs are really doing. After verbally bullying a kid, Emma and the ASM was just chatting to each other until I walked over. We will file a proper complaint to Barbour customer service center as this livingston store is not up to Barbour standard. What a shame! And after reading some of the reviews here. Maybe the management should take staff training more seriously.

Agree with the other reviews here that staff would rather chat to each other than assist customers. At least things have improved in the last two years when a staff member was openly rude to me.

Sales staff need training. Approached a young guy. He was chatting with 2 other female sales staff, the shop was very quiet as it was early. 10.30 sunday. I asked if the jacket i was holding was waterproof. He said it would withstand rain but they couldn’t say it was waterproof. I told him i was buying it for my daughter who was away hiking and camping and she needed a lightweight waterproof, did he have any suggestions. He first pointed to a wax! But i ssid no lighter than that. He never moved position. Then said if nothing in here is too your liking i suggest you go to moutain warehouse! No help, nothing the proceeded with his chat! I walked straight out. Went to northface, service was amazing. Young staff no chatting. Incredibly helpful. Bought 3 coats and a hat!

Terrible service issue, looking to buy a jacket Told to come in late pm on Thursday 17th Nov or early Friday 18/11. Went back to to store 1pm to be told by a lady ( one who told me to come back) rather abruptly “. 27 boxes came in wont be unpacking these today “”. Left name and phone number with chap who assured me he would call me. Nothing. Wasted time snd money travelling here. Certainly will not be back. Review left on trust pilot as well
