Where do I start. This was the 1st time we had used Jetstream Tours and will not be the last. On Sunday we did the Salute to the 40's tour to Chatham Dockyard. After a 2 hour leisurely cruise along the Medway, with an excellent and informative commentary from our skipper, we arrived at Chatham. Between the commentary some excellent 40's music was playing, getting us in the mood. We had a fantastic day in the Dockyard, with so much brilliant entertainment. It was such an enjoyable and moving experience. We departed Chatham for our cruise back to Southend, tired but happy. We arrived at the pier just as the sun was setting, beautiful. The boat and the crew are excellent and I can highly recommend Jetstream Tours.

A unique and fun way to experience the Thames Estuary Taking the Jetstream vessel from the end of Southend pier to Chatham historic dockyard for the 1940s event was an amazing experience which I highly recommend. The staff were very professional and provided a high level of safety and customer service. They also worked well with the Pier and Dockyard staff so the journey including pier train was seamless. It was comfortable and there was space to sit on deck or inside. Hot drinks were good and cheap. Perhaps, not for people who get sea sick as parts of the Estuary are like open sea.

We did the Red Sands Fort tour, which was excellent. The crew were really friendly with interesting and informative commentary along the way. The boat was bigger than expected with a nice seating area downstairs and a reasonably priced bar. The forts were spectacular and seeing the masts of the Montgomery on the way back was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

An excellent trip, perfect weather, great commentary. Tip for the staff, get yourselves a card reader where guests can tap a £3, £5 or whatever, gratuity. I'm sure you'd make hundreds every trip. No one ever has cash/coins anymore. They don't cost much and I was disappointed I couldn't leave anything for you, because you were all great.

I booked the Jetstream tour to the Redsand Towers & SS Montgomery wreckage as a last minute trip & went on it on 10/05/25. It was a great cruise from the end of Southend Pier. Was on the boat for just over 3 hours. It's a great thing to do, especially on a sunny day. The crew were very friendly, giving commentary throughout the trip, about the history of both landmarks. Plenty of room on the boat, where you can sit inside & out. There are toilets & 0 small bar, to get drinks and snacks. I'd say it's suitable for all ages too. You also get free travel on the pier train to & from the pier end, as part of your ticket.

This is one not to be missed. Absolutely brilliant day out. We did the 4 hour trip around the Isle Of Sheppey. I really did not know that there was so much World War history around the island. And see the island from the river and sea gives it a whole new perspective. We were lucky that we had good weather. Also got to see some good wildlife. These boat tours are really special to now have on the island. If your interested do not delay and book a tour online, you won’t regret it!

We loved this tour having had a caravan on the Isle of Sheppey for 10 years. It was so good to see all the landmarks - and those of neighbouring towns from the sea. We particularly enjoyed learning about the history of the port and the shipreck.. Jack and his colleague for fab,, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Great trip and great value for money and will definitely do more trips with Jetstream Tours. Thank you.

My friend and I enjoyed an excellent trip from Southend pier yesterday (1/5/22) on the Jacob Marley sailing out to the Maunsell towers and Richard Montgomery. The crew consisting of Richard & David ( apologies if I didn't remember names correctly) were brilliant and along with a very warm welcome aboard they were also very informative about the history of our estuary and the coastlines of Southend and Kent. It's amazing how little we know about the place we live in. There is a bar onboard to purchase alcohol as well as hot beverages at very reasonable prices and snacks such as crisps. All in all a very enjoyable trip.
