The prescription service has gone downhill over the last few months. Long waits (20-30minutes) to get to the counter. Prescription that has been on their computer system from the GP for over a week still had not been dispensed. Told to come back in an hour in order to wait a further 30 minutes to pick it up. Counter staff are not skilled in dealing with disgruntled customers.

Poor attitude IMHO. I had booked a COVID jab via the NHS app for both me and my 97 year old mother. We arrived on time, there was a queue of about 7 people for the serving desk, but the consultation room was to the side and there were two people sitting waiting outside it, so I figured it best to wait and be called (since this is what happens at my usual pharmacy). I could hear someone printing labels in the consulting room, so I figured that they would come out at the appointed time. About 10 minutes after our appointment (and with some of the same people still in the queue from when we arrived) I asked the other people if they were waiting for that room and they said no, so I knocked on the open door. the lady inside answered and I explained that we were here for a jab. "have you told the front desk", "er no, because there was a long queue, and I assumed that we would be called at the booked time", "no, you have to tell the front desk, because usually I am out the back. Oh, but you are here now, so I suppose you can come in, but I have to go to the fridge to get the vaccine". So then I helped my mother into the tiny room, (which was distinctly untidy), and eventually the lady's attitude warmed slightly (reluctantly). But I will never use that pharmacy again.

The only reason for one star is because the lady at the till was nice and polite. I went in with a common issue and they told me to go to the dentist for a tongue ulcer. Luckily I was smart enough to question this. Then the pharmacist came out and told me again I must go to the GP or dentist as they have nothing for ulcers. I spotted some familiar branded ulcer medication behind her and asked what that was and if I could have a look at it and the similar products next to it. I was then left alone for a few minutes to google and work out for myself what product to use. Just honestly awful awful service. The pharmacist didn’t apologise for the misinformation and didn’t even seem interested to learn how she could help more people with a similar problem in the future. I was in a lot of pain and on the way to an infection and I could have waited days and days in that pain for a GP or paid ££ for a dentist appointment if I had listened to their advice without questioning. What on earth has happened to this store? I had been warned that it had gone down hill but this is terrible. Please warn people to go elsewhere, especially vulnerable and elderly people who may not be so able to help themselves.

Moved to Horsell Pharmacy after having numerous issues with previous one! 18 months ago I’ve been amazed how efficient they are! I’ve not experienced any long Queue! Lovely staff! They aren’t able to let you know if your prescription is ready! But happily let you know when you call! They don’t currently do home deliveries, list full! Pharmacies have lots of issues post Covid, GP prescriptions, staffing, shortages of medications! I’d thoroughly recommend them

I don't understand the reason for the low ratings for Horsell Pharmacy! I have just switched to collect my prescriptions from here and it is not local to me. This is because the staff are always so helpful, polite and they answer the phone! Nothing is too much trouble, they have great customer service. I would highly recommend Horsell Pharmacy.

Reviews don’t lie. This is the worst pharmacy on earth. The customer service is unbelievably bad, rude and obnoxious. This a warning shot to anyone, please don’t pick up your prescription here

I'm a support worker for my client. I'm profoundly deaf and I only bring unused medication on behalf of my client. The staff was very rude and impatient when I used my phone for live translation, unfortunately, I can't use BSL health access for government lack of funding. She doesn't understand me and repeats ask me why. I explained. She walk off after told me it's a waste of money for NHS. Her behaviour wasn't acceptable and felt like it's my fault. After that, I feel upset.

Lovely counter staff - always helpful. My elderly parents both have lengthy prescriptions and these are dealt with well. There WERE teething problems when Paul left but no-one has ever been rude or arrogant. They are terribly busy at times and sometimes you have to wait. But it's never the end of the world and may not even be their fault. I'm glad Horsell has a good Pharmacy.

Service previously polite, helpful and efficient is now haphazard in terms of prescription fulfilment and previous delivery for over 80 has been stopped. Does no one care? Does no one who owns or manages this realise the gem that was there under Paul has been destroyed by disinterest in the community they serve - only the lady on the front desk warrants a thank you for trying.
