   Since changing hands and becoming a Rowlands pharmacy the service here has improved beyond all possible measure. The Pharmacy now text me when prescriptions are ready. They’re always friendly in there. This morning, even though my prescription wasn’t due until Monday, because I had left it late, the lovely assistant Sara still managed to fill up a prescription for me. Honestly, if you haven’t been here in awhile, they’ve really turned things around!

   I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Rowlands Pharmacy in St John’s. Every visit is a consistently positive experience, thanks to the staff’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for their customers. From prescriptions to advice and general support, the service is always efficient and thorough. The staff are not only knowledgeable but also take the time to explain things clearly and make sure you’re comfortable with the guidance you’ve been given. They treat everyone with respect and patience, even during busy times. It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work and truly values the community they serve. It’s rare to find this level of personal attention and reliability – and it makes a real difference.    I have found them to be most unhelpful in giving self medication advice for earache. The only thing they say is - go see a specialist or a walk through. They might as well sell coffee at starbucks, no medical knowledge whatsoever.

   These people are wonderful. They always do the absolute best they can with the resources that they have. They have supported me excellently over the last 5 years of living locally. In my opinion, working in a pharmacy is one of the toughest and most under appreciated jobs serving the local community. When things go as expected, it’s probably overlooked. When things go wrong, or people are in pain or stressed, it all comes out in their direction. Can’t thank these people enough.

   Rowlands pharmacy is the best pharmacy I have been to in the entire area by far. I urgently needed medication for my 10 month old child and they ordered it for next day delivery. When it arrived they SMS'd and called me so I could come get the medication before they closed. On collection it literally took me longer to park then get the meds. Amazing service and very much appreciated. Thanks you

   This is a really awful pharmacy, the staff are rude and reluctant to help. I find you stand at the till for a while why the staff chat until they actually help & when they do they are super unhelpful. Then when I came in for something a bit more private, it was shouted out so the whole shop could hear! There are always long queues, because the service is so slow. I would not recommend.

   Would give 0 stars if possible. They made me wait 3 weeks to fill one item 3 scripts one at a time, changed my nominated pharmacy without my consent confirmed by the practice, shouted at me, makes you wait for at least 30 minutes often outside in the heat without access to any seating just to be told after 25 minutes they don’t have the items. They are always rude. Pharmacist tried to throw me a bone by delivery of my medication but it was probably just to stop me complaining in store. Looks of disgust at customers. Honestly the staff there are so rude I was happy to wait on hold for an hour just to get away from them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

   One of the worst pharmacy I ever seen , 2 lady’s inside with no clue how to release a NHS prescription…… one of them ladies stays for about 25 min on a computer and another one go in brake…. Inside of pharmacy 7 people waiting and outside on car park another 5 cars , you should go home if you don’t know how to do your job and leave people competent to do it !!!!!!!
