Such shame that some of the comments from when the previous people were running it are still on here as they deserved the bad comments. The new people are pleasant and give an excellent service

I'm editing this review as I hear the pharmacy is now under new management which is fantastic (the previous owner and his staff were upsettingly rude and sarcastic to my relative - it is just not acceptable when dealing with the elderly, sick and vulnerable.) So this is great and we wish the new owner all the best. Please remember customer service makes all the difference and I hope everyone will support this local pharmacy.

I’ve been a customer of this pharmacy for many years, and since coming under new management, the transition has been absolutely seamless. The new pharmacist is truly exceptional – along with his staff, they are all incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He consistently goes above and beyond, always taking the time to listen and ensure you get exactly what you need. I can’t recommend Grove Pharmacy highly enough – a real gem in the community!

This has recently been taken over ( in last 6 weeks) by a new pharmacist whose aim is to be part of the community, for the community. Recently, when I had been let down time and again by Boots, Grove Pharmacy were incredibly helpful and made sure that we got the drugs needed for my Mum's palliative care. Having met him in person today, I can honestly say - brilliant! If I could give 10 stars, I would

Wouldn't even give a one star. The pharmacist, Mr Pattel, is the most condescending, aggressively rude person I have ever met. I changed my pharmacist get away from him and he harassed me with persistant telephone calls. While I was away he managed, somehow, to get a prescription to dispense my meds so that my new pharmacy could not dispense for me. Very distressing behaviour, makes me feel very vulnerable.

I have swapped my greats Aunt prescriptions over from Boots to this excellent helpful family business. They remembered myself and "Lady Bookham" from weeks ago. And have given me extremely helpfull info to help her..... #buylocal #Bookham

I phoned Mr Patel and told him what I needed and to ask whether they had it in stock. He let me describe the medication and then said he was busy and to phone back. A simple yes or no would have sufficed. I phoned back and the same thing happened but this time he said he was closed. Why answer the phone then or why not just say whether the medication was in stock or not? Very poor customer service.

Most unhelpful, rude, obnoxious man I’ve ever come across. Don’t be a pharmacist if helping people isn’t something you enjoy doing….being a parent of a sick child is a worrying time and he made it 10x tougher!

Dreadful rude staff. Seem to issue prescription medication to ‘regular’ customers only. Also if you don’t agree to having prescriptions automatically sent to them they suddenly don’t have enough medication for you! Not what you would expect.

Wish I could give Zero. Cannot believe there are any reviews saying they are any good- unless there are two pharmacists. Mr Patel is one of the rudest and most aggressive people I have ever had the misfortune of talking to and the fact he is in what should be a caring profession is beyond me. Disgusting behaviour, I would far rather stand in the queues at nearby boots than go anywhere near this place ever again.
