Firstly I believe we are lucky to have the pharmacist on our doorstep. It has been through its ups and downs and downs, mainly due I believe to Boots prioritising the town pharmacy for staffing. I have noticed much better staffing on recent visits, however they are very busy, so there. Can be a wait, but generally not and communication is good. Staff are pleasant considering the pressure they work under.

Solid staffing and best service. Of the many practical, good things, like parking, seating and text notifications, the most significant is the staff. Good staffing goes unnoticed sometimes, and no doubt unappreciated. A competent staff is one thing, but here, the staff are exceedingly patient and accommodating, and there is huge peace of mind in that.

Absolutely appalling service. We decided to give this pharmacy a second try as it was close. The first time we had to wait 40 minutes to get a prescription with the staff just standing in the staff section talking to each other. This time we handed them a note from the doctor with the name of something I needed after looking around the shop and couldn’t see it. The lady looked at the note with another lady and decided they both couldn’t read it - the writing was hard to read but they didn’t even try to understand or use their initiative. They just pointed to the back of the store of where it might be and dismissed us.

Truly awful service. I was trying to find a hand moisturiser recommended by the GP. They didn’t try to help at all, not interested in trying to find the right one. Chemist just said ‘I can’t read that’. Staff member just said the moisturisers are ‘down there’ to pointing to the other end of the shop. Uncaring service. Always rubbish service.

Worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. I've used it for years, but for the last 2 years, the service has been worse than useless. They take upwards of 7-10 days from prescription arriving to have the items. They do not contact you to say things are ready, but when you arrive to collect, you're given excuse after excuse. Not yet authorised, not been unpacked yet, lack of staff, and so on. Sometimes collecting a repeat prescription can take 3 or 4 repeat visits, and generally you have to queue for 30-50 minutes to even get to the counter to then be given the selected excuse of the moment.. I will not return, and suggest others look elsewhere..

Went to pick up a prescription today and the store is closed without prior warning. I had checked online before walking there, and it said the store was open. Phoned the GP next door who advised that someone should be on site to take calls/deal with requests. Called the store several times, clearly no one on site.

This particular Boots Pharmacy is always closed when you need them, they are closed when they are supposed to be open, and they are late with medications too. It definitely needs a new management.

This pharmacy is an absolute disgrace. They seem to be now closing at 1pm everyday, if this the case then they can at least change the opening times on the website. I also found the lady on the phone when I called to have zero customer skills. I have already changed my nominated pharmacy to somewhere else and I advise everyone to use an alternative pharmacy.

I checked on the internet which confirmed that Boots at St Luke’s was open until 18.30 hrs So I drove from home to discover that they were shut. A notice had been put up saying that they had closed at 13.00 hrs due to “ staff shortages”. There were other customers/ patients outside the locked pharmacy. Appalling and contemptuous service, they couldn’t even be bothered to post the revised times online, preferring instead for customers to discover they were shut when they arrived.

Pleased an order online to be collected on 13.08 from this store. Store was temporarily closed ( they didn’t let me know about that ), spend 2h on the phone, went to Guildford main store ( they didn’t helped me to get my already paid order) and been advised by Jade the manager to go there again on Sunday ( when is closed ). What a joke …. They didn’t want to refund my order or to be delivered at home at their cost. They said I need to chase the store on next week to get my order. Outrageous !!!!!
