   I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience at this pharmacy. When collecting medication for my mother, the pharmacist supplied the tablets in a completely unacceptable manner: they were given in multiple different brand names (even though the active ingredient was the same), and the packaging was cut into separate pieces, with no batch information or expiry date visible on the strips. This is not only unprofessional, but also potentially dangerous, as verifying the authenticity and safety of the medication becomes impossible. When my mother sensibly refused to accept the tablets in this state, the staff were extremely unhelpful. They refused to give us the original paper prescription, which we needed to take to another pharmacy after changing providers. Even when the GP requested we recollect the prescription, the pharmacist only offered two unacceptable choices: take the tablets in the unsafe, cut packaging, or go through the hassle of asking the GP to reissue another prescription. This kind of behaviour suggests they are not acting in the best interests of patients and are evading their professional responsibilities. The lack of transparency and care in how medication is supplied puts customers at unnecessary risk. I strongly advise others to avoid this pharmacy and choose a provider who takes medication safety, honesty, and customer service seriously.

   There aren't enough stars to rate Cross Chemist - over the last couple of years they have been outstanding from delivering medication whilst I was recovering from major surgery, extremely helpful on the phone if I ever needed to call and now I'm much fitter and can collect my prescriptions they are clearly very industrious, never any snags and they are also very kind and welcoming. For me Cross Chemist is the best chemist/ pharmacy I have ever experienced and I am very grateful for all their help and kindness over the past couple of years.
